What's with the complaining about the A.I.? Of course a guard wouldn't jump at a closing door. Like he wouldn't jump at hearing foot steps (unless they were right behind him) or a silhouette or something. Guards don't have to react to your every move when they are in a relaxed work space and if you're not doing something out of the ordinary. A muted gun shot is not an ordinary sound and the guards react properly. However a closing door is something you hear every five minutes.

You know why its like that? Because they simplified the hud, so no sound emits. In the last gen versions, something like that would grab his attention easily if it weren't masked.
