I have always loved Steve Perry. His voice is just so beautiful. I have tried to listen to the "New" Journey but I just can't handle Arnel's voice. It's like they tried to find someone to replace Steve instead of moving on. For one, Steve is irreplacable. Two, I can tell the difference. Real Steve Perry fans can. I certianly can and I just can't listen to Arnel try to copy Steve cause he doesn't do a very good job at it.

Steve is and will always be the "voice" of Journey, but even in this song you can tell his voice was different from 10 years earlier, kind of deeper but with great feeling and emotion. Its impossible to sound that great with all the singing and touring. I love the old Journey but Im grateful for the new Journey that is still rocking around the world.

He has had hip replacement, and having the kind of arthritis he and I have, you have bone on bone rubbing, and it hurts like hell. He says he is fixing up a studio and he plans to keep written songs and soon may record them. So he can sing, but he says touring is out. Do you understand? God I hope so. Steve is and will always be the "voice" of Journey, but even in this song you can tell his voice was different from 10 years earlier, kind of deeper but with great feeling and emotion. Its impossible to sound that great with all the singing and touring. I love the old Journey but Im grateful for the new Journey that is still rocking around the world.

OK all you Steve Perry fans, go to Google and look up what Steve said. He has had hip replacement, and having the kind of arthritis he and I have, you have bone on bone rubbing, and it hurts like hell. He says he is fixing up a studio and he plans to keep written songs and soon may record them. So he can sing, but he says touring is out. Do you understand? God I hope so. Get real people, as we age so does our bodys. Some people are lucky and some are in pain at 62 yrs old.

Enjoy some who are trying to keep music simple when they sing it takes your breath away, makes your heart jump and brings sometimes smiles or tears to your eyes.
