Wow the pics really show off how amazing this look is, ive subscribed and really enjoyed this video - im doing one for my channel to i think smashbox soft lights are amazing to provide this glowy look : )
you look really pretty! quick question... I have medium-olive toned skin but i use a rosy colored blush and it looks wrong on me... what blush color would you recommend? thanks!
Love your vid. I wanted to know what cover up you were using and the color. I am fair as you, and that one looked fantastic on you. Also, which brush were you using with the cover up. Thank you.
Hiya! Thanks for the tut. I really enjoy and learn from all your tutorials. I was just wondering if you can recommend an affordable big blusher brush? What is the Coastal Scents one you've used? Blends really well. I tend to use the Mac contouring brush for bronzer and Blush :-s
WOW! You're skin looks so beautiful! I wish I could get that same glow! I'm going to try what you do and see what happens! Thanks for the helpful instructions!
Wow! Your face looks ready for HD TV now! And you're totally right about skincare being more important than eye makeup, it really does make or break any look...
wow i never would have thought to use one of those weird stippling brushes for foundation... but now it seems so much better than my current foundation brush because it's a piece of crap! all of those tacky streaks... bleh.
I actually think you went a little bit too heavy on the blush. It was perfect before you started putting on more!! Just a tip.. Dont put on too much of it...
Wow. I have an NYX skunk brush and I am definitely going to try applying my colorstay with that. For some reason I don't like applying Colorstay with my fingers because I feel like the application is way too heavy, but this seems like it will solve this problem beautifully. I have heard of others (on MUA) talking about applying with a 187 and its helpful to see a tut on this. Thank you so much.
Studio Fix can't really be compared to the Revlon Colorstay bc they're entirely different products, one is a powder, one a liquid. The Colorstay does give more coverage than the Studio Fix though, at least on me. As for Studio Fix Fluid, I only ever tried a sample of it from MAC and I didn't like it because it was just SO yellow on me, it looked really unnatural. So I can't really say how they compare because the SFF was just totally wrong for me. I think the coverage is comparable though.
Fantastic tutorial and a gorgeous look, really dewy with a subtle shimmer This is exactly the kind of look and finish i keep trying to create when doing my makeup, but have never managed it yet, so am looking forward to giving this a go. Thank for covering this. Looking forward to watching more of your vids on here, keep up the good work.
Btw your are very pretty and your skin is so clear
The smaller blush brush is the one from the Italian Badger line and called the "Italian Badger Chisel Powder brush", it's the single one, not the one in the set. The large black bristled one I used for applying the Studio Fix powder is called the "Large Paddle Face Brush" on their website.
You are so right about having the skin look great before doing eye makeup or something else! The skin sets the whole pace of the look. Great vid Definitely taking notes :)
Cute, your first tutorial! Gorgeous.
