Massa wasnt driving a car that was still being developed, and he wanst driving a car that had just been fitted with untested modifications. He wasnt driving a car that was suffering from downforce imbalance between front and rear and his team had had plenty of time to set the car up with the spec he used. And there wasnt the downforce limitations last season that there is this season.
Yeah, but Heikki wasnt running the newer front wing and the modified rear diffuser. The following race they swapped the mods around, so Heikki ran the new front wing, Lewis didnt.
Many teams are running mods on 1 car at a time, because the ban on testing means the teams have no way of comparing the modifications.
Interestingly both Mclaren drivers didnt run the latest upgrades at Spain, indicating they are a very long way from getting the car sorted.

But if's and but's don't count. Nobody is arguing that the F10 was a good car, nor the MP4-24, but the F60 is a beast, as is the MP4-25. The way Alonso & Hamiton are driving this year, nobody could possibly argue they are a bad drivers, both are class acts!

@icetonky : well it is hard to say. As drivers, Massa and Alonso will be the same as they always have been. But the F10 is not showing me that it is very reliable yet. Both F10's overheated first race, then had some tyre problems in race two and in this last race, Alonso's blew up. Massa's seemed ok then, but who knows what will happen if he is forced to push her like Alonso was (in that same matter). So I dunno how reliable it is overall, we'll see.
Fernando is very talented, but a rookie has essentialy gotten the better of him, favoritism is a cop out with the the money that Ron Dennis wasted on Fernando he would not be stupid enough to hamper him in any way shape or form. If you listen to Alonso's and Briatore's comments they wanted favoritism not equality. He probably got that treatment at Renault as he was managed by Flavio.

That was a great race was there live turn 13, I also predicted a resurgent Kimi as he was getting used to the tyres quite well finally at the USGP. Kimi and Fernando have an extremely late turn in style that was better suited to the square side wall profile of Michelline tyres.
No they both previously used Michelline tyres and that suited their driving style better than the current bridgestones do with the more rounded profile, however they are now adapting well enough.
and for those of you that are hating on lewis hamilton why dont you all go get a life and stop hating on some1's progress when he started driving an f1 most of you were busy tryna catch the bus,try making something out of ur miserable lives and stop hating on someone for being good

I wouldn't be so quick to deny that. Ron's not taking advantage of Lewis, nor Lewis Ron. At the end of the day Ron looked after Lewis's interests first and could do little more than be hopeful that he had backed a future champion.
