@thelaurenator3008 Hi. You do need powdered sugar for this recipe. You can make your own by placing a cup of granulated sugar in a blender or food processor for each cup of powdered sugar needed. Blend at high speed or pulse it until the sugar turns to powder. Be careful as the sugar can scratch your blender pitcher or processor, especially if it is plastic. You can also make this in small batches in a coffee grinder or spice grinder. Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!!!

I try this for dessert this evening and one word comes to mind: YUMMO. When you said Daniel said that the cookies literally melts in your mouth...he was telling the truth. It was a hit at my house. My mom, 10 year old godson & 11 year old cousin enjoyed them as well as I did. I'm most definitely making these again within the next week or two. Lots of love. -T.J.
