  • Dang it maaaaaaaaan I just got my first crybaby yesterday now I want this I need a second job lol

  • do i just put the pedal on the pad or can i velcro it

  • what about putting a volume pedal on on level 0 and using it like a killswitch

  • how easy would it break do yas reckon

  • Do you like the Wylde cry baby better than the Cantrell?

  • That means also that if you want to play for example : Comfortably Numb, this device does not let you play with the wah put in mid ; you have to let your feet on during all the song ?!

  • Where can i find 1? i have been looking fo years!

  • What if you wanted more pedals in the Wah pads loop? The cables are hard wired, and they're so short..

  • i have quite a problem with my wah, i have exact the same wylde wah, but i basicly have to stomp on it to make it work, and i mean stomp fucking hard, or pick it up and punch it, but it works otherwise perfectly i guess... its my first wah, if anyone have similar problems i would love to hear from you... especially if u solved it :)

  • I guess Kirk Hammett is getting this then.

  • or you could just get a Ibanez WD-7

  • his sucking up to G Lab is so gay

"so lets see... what other ways can we use the True Bypass Wah Pad from G Lab?"

seriously.. who the fuck talks like that?!! a real douche thats who

and who the fuck is gonna use that sound @ 8:32 so retarded

  • @kill5witchengage3 What a back asswards dip ship..."he's so gay" shut the fuck up you immature fool. No, I'm not gay and it wouldn't mean a fuck if I was. You're showing your ingnoance by using such homophobic slander. Grow up fool...how old are you, 12? Oh, by the way, I have an 18 year old brother that is severly retarded and it's going to cost my family millions of dollars to care for him God willing he lives a long, long life, I pray. So, yea, I'm offended by your cheesy, stupid, remarks.

  • @tonedog735 why the fuck are u telling me about ur retarded brother? i think u got it the wrong way, ur brother is fine UR RETARDED.

all im saying is that this guy is such a sellout. didnt wanna ask about ur gay pride or family/mental problems

  • although this is useful stuff, this guy is such a sellout

  • can i get one in canada?

  • 7:30 it sounds like butt!!!

  • yeah lol how much does that go for!?!?

  • Now that is BY FAR ....THE coolest unit I've seen in YEARS!!!!

    Touch and go baby!....

  • 01:39, That's what she said

  • my Crybaby's switch is broken. is it advisable to just use this wah pad as an alternative so I don't need to use the switch anymore?

  • Hey good people!

    hahaa...

So lets see what other things can i do with this... mmm

    hahahaa.....

    RATM sound! LOL!

any other applications for? haha... my dog!

Very nice video, very nicely presented!

  • wow you sold me, I think i want one

  • No click ?!

    I love that click sound.

  • ok so basically this thing does exactly what any other stock wahpedal from MORLEY does? hehe

  • he acts younger then he is..

  • only problem is that o has to have ur foot on it alll the time to use th effect, but i think thats one of the points of it:\

  • how much?

  • Damn..the G Lab's one cool gadget..It makes any wah function like a Bad Horsie or a Tremonti Morley Wah which is touch sensitive..COOL!

  • he is being endorsed

  • I LOVE THIS GUY, HE'S AWESOME!!!

  • Ibanez WD7 has this kind of "Autoswich" mode.

  • hey does anyone know where i can get one in America? preferabley in southert california

  • a bit over priced

  • ploxx for the fun sound

  • pretty expensive though

    $150

  • What kind of wah does John Frusciante. I have a 535Q. How can I make it sound like his?

  • @RocknRollisDead1

he uses an ibanez wh-10. they are no longer made but you can buy a reissue, it is really good and sounds exactly like the original one but the foot switch sucks. thats why im thinking of buying this pad. and you cannot get the sound of a wh10 with a crybaby. the wh10 is CRAZY!!!

  • Hey, Can anyone help me? I've got an original Dunlop crybaby wah pedal and when I turn it on it gives it a HUGE treble boost and when I'm playing and I push it all the way down it makes it really high and annoying. Can anyone help? Thanks :D

  • @01Justin010 open your wah, and roll back the pot inside a little bit, it'll take off a bit of edge. hope it helps.

  • While I do see great potential in being able to true bypass any pedal, especially noisy vintage or cheaper pedals. I also see that it could have a lot of usefulness in creating experimental sounds. However, I often like to leave the wah pedal on and in a fixed position, but this negates that my ability to do so.

  • don't really find that necessary.. it isn't that hard pressing the button on a wah pedal :b

  • oh and do you think i need it for a weeping demon ibanez pedal. all i care about is the bypass.

  • dude a weaping demon wah has that built into it, you just put the switch on automatic and put the time delay at zero on the pedal

  • just a momentary foot switch. not a big deal.

  • that thing is really awesome. im gonna plan on getting one of those soon!

  • the dude looks like a douche...

  • fuck he can play

  • 8 52 sounds like pacman xD

  • nice chucks...

  • TOM MORRELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm about to buy my first wah, so I'm looking into this. My question is for anyone who has owned this for some period of time. It doesn't look like a product that would have great longevity to me. Connecting tips aren't gold plated (I know I'm a little anal) and may erode. An I'm hesitant in buying anything that's activated with pressure.

Is this something that will last me? Or am I better off just modding my wah?

  • This is a novelty product. If you want a good wah, buy a crybaby 535 or Vox. This thing is lame.

  • yeah i agree I own the zw-45 and i'd really like to sell it

i prefer the wah pedal built into my line 6 spider III rather than this pedal, the lower range sounds horrible

  • @TheNikkai

    I recommend getting the ZW-45.

    It sounds and feelsgreat.

Andfrom what i (quite literally) hear, lasts longer than a p0rnstar in bed!

    lol.

i diddnt get it yet, but i cant wait.

    $129.99 is a awesome price.

ZW-45 is the dunlop crybaby improvement. You can literally sound like zakk (if your good enough)

    I hope i helped. Have a nice day :)

    Kindest Regards, Marar33.

  • Just get a morley wah.

  • I have it and it is a brick! You could throw that thing off a wall and go plug it in and it is still perfect. But, the EVH or Kirk Hammett wahs are better sounding IMO.

  • For those who don't quite understand the value of this, the dunlop wahs don't have true bypass (to my knowledge). You hafta mod them. True bypass is meant so that it sounds as if you don't have that effect in your loop at all even when it's off (cause the connection is not running threw the effect when the effect is off). Minimizing hum and w/e nasty little sounds and tone sucking you get when using a lot of effects even if they are all turned off.

  • Yeah except this thing probably costs a decent amount of cash, and a dpdt switch costs 5 bucks....

  • I know and you could get a 3dpdt switch and install an LED on your wah too.

  • discustingly corny

  • @justyeti

How often do you walk away with your wah on? Do you even have a wah?

  • what website can u buy these frum???

  • wtf does blooping have to do with tom morello?

  • Cos its an alternative, experimental sound ¬¬

  • 8.07 :D:D:DD

  • 6.30 :D::D:D:D:D:D

  • loool i have the same shoes

  • Damn, this things aweomse

  • Cute dog! xD

  • the "blooping" noise at around 8:36 reminded me of mario :D

  • MARIO!!! =D

  • i want 1 . looks like a awsome product but for the price u can by a pressure senstive wah

  • jesus that dog is a bit on the heavy side

  • My name is mud

  • Not to be confused with bill or jack or pete or dennis

  • baically a power button lol oj nice product $159 though....

  • The bloop sounds very Super Mario.

  • ONE REASON WHY DOES IT SUCK about the distortion ... because, you can't play distorted solo or riff without keeping your foot on the pad!

  • ya,but stompboxes r e z to turn off and on,so u dont have to use this

  • yeh man, seems pointless to me,

  • they give you a little baggy of them and its kinda nice

    LOL

  • the sound at like 8:30 is like the perfect cop car sound.

  • Whats scale were you improvising in?:)

  • that shit is like 120 bucks men

    not worth t

  • well, then dont but it and stop crying. thanks.

  • hw much did glab pay u 4 dis video? :-p

  • Ha! cute little guy! great job!

  • reduce the stress in your life!:D haha

  • 8:10 Beavis and Butthead lol?

  • So could this make any pedal true bypass as long as it's plugged into the pad? That would be really awsome cause you would never have to worry about if a pedal is true bypass or not.

  • Its only activated when there is a heavier weight on the pad. So it woun't work if you step off.

  • i love samantha

  • lol at 7:00 like it really is much harder to press in the button then to touch the pad, lol

  • i didnt know whether i wanted one of these until he did that blooping noise that noise kicks ass

  • cool demo! it's a shame that you didn't show the flanger or potting on a reverb or a really fast vibe thingy...

  • that's useless! the only thing that is good with it is that it has a LED.... install that in your wah-wah instead. much cheaper!

  • at 8:46 i thought it was a cop car, lol

  • 08:35 Hiorman Ry would love it :D :D :D

  • Cheaper to install true bypass in the wah lol, what if you sell the wah? What the hell are you gonna do with that shit

  • who will pay for that? you don't need the stupid item

  • man, what an absolutely useless item!!!

  • You've got to be kidding me? It helps on so many levels.

    1. You don't have to worry about your wah not disengaging properly and having it ruin your sound when it doesn't come off.

    2. You can end the note on the lower frequency that sound smuch nicer than the tone of the higher note that you;re forced to end on with a toe switch.

    3. It's not just limited to wah pedals! You can put anything on this pad.

    4. you can set the wah at any angle, hit the pad and you have that tone INSTANTLY.

  • thats what i was thinking, actually pretty damn cool really...

  • lol

  • haha love the blooping sound!

  • Comment removed

  • that would work great with a synth wah pedal

  • lol when you were explaining what bypass is haha

there are some things on guitar that we know how it works, but have a hard time explaining it haha

  • i played one today but i played shit on it panic attack lol

  • David you rock man. You should do a video on the Lines 6 Pod X3 live!

    nice Chucks btw =D

  • how much does it cost in usa

  • i love my zakk wylde wah n i really need this pad for it

  • This is cool, but the only thing is that it costs about the same a very top of the line true bypass wah. Also, there are much cheaper solutions to fixing a true bypass wah

  • if u want the wah?

why not just get the ibanez weeping demon....

  • beacuase it looks gay and sucks and is made of cheap ass chinese plastic

  • Lol

  • man i love your vids and temper!

  • what is the point of this.......

  • yeah but what if you want to play a bit with the wah in use?? you have to stand there with your foot on the pedal??

  • it has an option to leave the bypass off even when ur not using the wah

  • just goes to show you how lazy musicians are getting.

  • no, its mainly to make your Non- True bypass wah wah pedals into True Bypass pedals. to preserve your tone. nothing to do with laziness

  • What I want to see is how you play the pattern boxes on your guitar :)

  • how much did you pay for it,?

    im interested on buy one

    pls let me kno!!!...

im in need of a wahhhh pedal!!!.

  • 470 dollars

  • yikes

  • its £99 which is like $110 not 470...

  • It's great, I love it.

  • its about $160

  • ...on the wha anyways the rest is kinda cool

  • this is lazy...

  • wow.......if he put it into some kind of stand and used bass drum double pedal to create the pressure......using the right effects, i believe it could create some really crazy sounds

  • lol you made me laugh

  • well... personally.. for wah paddles, I prefer auto-off wahs... you never have to worry about accidentally leaving the wah on when you dont need it.

  • nice dude thanks for the tip looks good il be checking it out... nice solos btw

  • I could use this as a killswitch to play Jordan or sth.

  • you should try sustaing a note with some heavy flanger and turn it on and off really fast

  • Love his videos, but samantha................no, i think we coulda done without her.

  • wouldn'n that do it randomly

  • not a bad idea and the true bypass brings us one step closer to tone heaven hahaha

  • man that would be sick for White Room..

  • the pad is not made by dunlop, is made by glab..... dunlop isn´t making any money with it... pay atention b4 you talk

btw the pad is kinda cool tho

  • i agree it is cool. and forgive my misunderstnding with dunlop and glab. but if you really think about it, it is just another marketing move by whoever created this pressure pad. it maybe of good use for some guiarist but its not really necessary to own one unless the user is really clumsy, not clicking the pedal hard enough.

  • i think the pad is for the ppl that like the sound of the crybaby but aren't into the clicking thing, like me for example, i use a morley wah with an optical system cuz is just pressing it and there it is, like the crybaby with the pad, there's no mechanical pots and switches to mess up. I like the pad to replace this kind of wahs for the sound of a crybaby w/o learning how to use the new one, just plug and play.

  • normal cry baby's and vox wahs and others, i.e. very common wahs tend not to have true bypass which affect you tone when off. i think the pads a good idea as you don't get any clicks or anything. and besides who doesnt want a nice little gimmick like this.

  • but someone is making money and dunlop wasn't the point

  • that was awasome!

  • yeah yeah cool noise!!!

  • i want it

  • totally awesome tool for playing live. i just got a dunlop wah and it takes too long to click down the pedal switch and wutnot. seems like a very cool pedal pad thing

  • Wow!!! this guy kicks ass!!!

  • I can dig it, it cool when we actually see something we can use. Man oh man thanks for this great demo.

  • what wah pedal did you use

  • zakk wylde cry baby

  • lol niice doggy

  • I think that beeping sound may be reverb..

  • that is so fucking cool

  • kinda like the morley mark tremonti wah. it does the same thing, where it doesnt click, it just reads your weight.

  • hey david i was wondering if you guys could do a module on playing grunge or alternative- style guitar perhaps, would be much obliged.

  • sounds cool i want a wah pedal

  • mov.. mo...limi..mouvement.ehh... lim..mouvement limiters lol, good review

  • sounds like the police with the OCD

  • Hey David! Awesome video but i must ask, what setup are you using when you demo the pad with the wah? I have to know, the tone quality was beyond amazing! Thanks!

  • that dog knows wassup

  • What happens if you click on/off the wah pedal while it's on the pad?

  • nothing, as soon as you touch the pedal though itll turn on the wah.

  • what i really like is it has a light

  • hey could any guitarist hopefully tell me what type of wah im lookin for i just want a wah pedal that stays like that without me having to go up and down i just want it to stay ON WAH. PLZ HELP ME OUT

  • mxr q zone

  • like a auto wah?

  • Yes=] exactly like that plz tell me=]

  • nonsensical generalization

  • i wonder what would happen if you tryed it with a volume pedal actually..

  • i think its pointless...

  • Some pedals make noise when you turn them on, with this it will disappear.

  • bloop
