I have heard a lot about them but no one is able to give good references. Scourse "e" is just as old as J. even in the verse you mention it has the double name. Again show me a codex where yhvh is found in Gen 1 as the text I mention in the video has it translated.

According to the documentary hypothesis which has a lot of support from scholars, the Torah is a combination of writings from J, a source that uses YHWH, E, a sources that uses Elohim and then later YHWH after the burning bush, D, the Deuteronomist source and P, the Priestly source which uses Elohim. Then they say these sources were combined by R, a redactor who may have been Ezra or someone else. However in the 70's books came out that challenged this theory.

Oh and D uses YHWH Elohainu according to wikipedia. That would be interesting to look at the documentary hypothesis mapped out over the Torah I think I might search for that.

I wonder why there are so many translations to the Bible, I understand that subjectivity was greatly involved in the creation of the Bibles original text but for it to be skewed so much yet still be taken as the word of God when it couldn't be even in the case of the original.
