u need to b in texture mode.

open an image.

make the mesh to have a new texture tht says "new" in the edit tab.

but put the texture on while in edit mode.

The Blender "game engine" is so messy... this video is living proof.

Want decent results? Write your code in a compiled language like C++. You can still make your models in Blender - just don't make the _game_ there.

heh it is not a messy game engine its just that he hadnt completly finished that game and if you dont beilive me search Duk Duk a blender game (that doesnt mean c++ is bad its a really really good game maker)
