WTH!!! Who cares if the people of Monaco didn't want their Princess to act? It's none of their business what she does, WHAT they own her or something come on get real. That's stupid crap.
@JuJuMJFan4life Royals are public figures, it is part of law and tradition that a princess should be a princess, meaning they produce heirs to the throne and take care of their home and children. You can't have your cake and eat it too. She should have chosen to stay in Hollywood if she still wanted to act.
I think that her true love was acting, they're lots of actors that are not happy with their love life but have successful careers, they live through their roles and those roles love them back by giving them the chance to change their existence and Grace missed that, the peace and love that the dedication to her talent gave her through her career, her kids were difficult but all teenagers are, it's only with time that teens develope empathy toward their parents and the sacrifices they made.
She was a member of a cult Order of Solar Temple in Europe as claimed by a British journalist, she was refused to cooperate and pay them money so they kill her just like princess Diana. They make it looks like an accident and I believe that too.
Her birthday today - one of the most beautiful woman ever, a shame she ever went to Monaco, it was the beginning of the end, in many ways, Prince Rainier was a jerk.
I think she made a mistake marrying Rainier. She would have been much happier if she had been able to continue her career. At the beginning it seemed like a dream but then the reality was that she was trapped (as a Catholic princess she could never divorce), she had an irascible husband (who betrayed her) and very difficult kids. Plus the Monegasques never really accepted her.
Both Diana and Grace came from well-to-do families, both were beautiful, both married royalty and the weddings were a media circus. Both died in a car accident and their deaths stunned their families (and the world). Both had televised funerals which drew millions of viewers. They did have a lot in common.
Why did Rainier not deserve her? There were rumours that both strayed from the marriage and grew apart but nothing was ever proven. Their mutual friend, Gwen Robyns, says in the documentary she believed they would have enjoyed a happy old age together. I think she would know more than we would.
She didn't have the accident on the same road. I've seen it on a map with an arrow pointing to the road in the film & an arrow pointing to the road where she went over the edge. They are miles apart
There was no way that anyone could have predicted that Princess Grace would have a stroke like that. It is so tragic that she died in that manner but at least she did not suffer a painful, slow death. I thought that it is so sad that Princess Stéphanie's life seems to have gotten even more tragic since her mum's death. R.I.P. Princess Grace.
i want someone to post the BBC documentary on Princess Grace from 1998 (i think it's called "Secret Lives").

Humans are a funny lot we think that riches fame bring happyness
Looking at the past and seening familys with money never seem happy
I think as long as you have enough to live on and have most of the things in life you are indeed blessed
To have a dream in your back pocket is the key to happyness its the dreaming that makes one happy

her marriage life reminds me so much of Diana's..no wonder Diana considered her one of her idols and was so upset about her death.

Her children certainly did not live up to her legacy. She was so beautiful, a trophy wife in all aspects. Ranier did not deserve her.
Flozzy1000 2 years ago 18
He probably didn't deserve her, but that's no reason to knock her kids. They don't have to live up to any legacy. That's BS.

Grace's son Albert actually denies the claim that Grace had the car accident while driving on the same stretch of road as in To Catch A Thief.
