Dude, do you get any prob on your rig? I want update my rig soon for crossfire of HD6870 + 8GB Kingston Hyper X. Will cooler master gx 750watt support for the rig? Reply me for faster pls
I saw a bit of lag on your new computer, but I want a set up like yours, I am running games on a crappy laptop, dont get me wrong but the Satelite C655 is good for just running regular windows, but its not a gaming laptop, I am lookin for a gaming computer, I absolutly love computer games now, lol, I cant get off them, I would suggest you upgrade your graphics card.... my friend has the same set up as you but he has a better card, Idk what it is, but yeah, nice set up
Plz help! I want a gaming pc but i dont want to upgrade too soon...I want to buy it now and using it for 2-3 years like intel core 2 quad gaming pcs...Now my specs are amd x6 1100t and hd 6870 ! I think that i need to change my cpu!
@Jespae I dont know what you mean by ghosting but yeah i had to buy another illuminated keyboard because tactile response was horrible. i tried fixing it but ended up breaking it. I bought another one though because i like the keyboard. Its a good keyboard but you just have to be gentle with it.
Nice setup, you are lucky I have a ton of awesome games on my steam library but my computer can't even run Half-Life 1 so that sucks for me. BTW I'm also Dominican :D
Only thing I wanna say is comparing a desk top with a laptop isn't a great test. Desktop to desktop or laptop to laptop. This is opinionated btw just saying.
Hey i was wondering if i should get the Phenom II x 2 555 Black edition with 4GB of DDR3 1333mhz ram, what do u think? and yes i would be upgrading the Phenom II x 2 to a II x 4 but dont need it just yet, so let me know what u think. oh and btw the MOBO is a MSI 785GM-P45 AM3 785G mATX Motherboard
@TheIshnare Just get an Alienware. Im sure for around 1400 you could get something that will run everything. And, with Alienware, you can just upgrade it later if you dont like it in a few years.
@Dashnikian I ran into some problems with the raid 0 config I had going on. I had to search online for the latest raid drivers before I could install windows. Afterwords I installed windows and it worked perfectly.
@dominicanboi94 hmm ok but i mean i got the 965 and im probably getting this motherboard but i wont be using raid so i will be able to boot everything without updating bios you think?
@tanixpp yeah it does lagg.. I was trying to play an hd movie while browsing the internet (cause I can) the other day and was socked to find my computer running slow due to not having any ram left. Ram is the next upgrade I will do.
@MilesyBoy2k10 I used two programs. One is CPU-Z and the other is GPU-Z. CPU tells you about your computer and GPU tells you about your graphics card. You also can get some basic specs by right clicking on "My Computer" and clicking on "properties".
I think i will buy the Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H, Socket-AM3 moderborad if i will build my own computer but im just 13 and cant much about computers and my english is not the best :P
@TheMorotgubben Hey if you have any questions message me I would be glad to explain everything out to the smallest detail. I will recommend parts and give tips on stuff.
@tumadreik just make sure you know what your doing, and take your time. One thing I forgot to do was to not touch the top of the CPU. Since I touched it I had to clean it before installing it. It didn't cause any problems in performance but it made me spend more time building the computer. To get the programs you just have to search google for them. They are free!
When you purchased your Lian-Li Lancool PC-K62 case, was it broken in any way, because when i was reading newegg comments many people said that had dents or broken parts on their case and their fan cords were too short. Did your case come alright and also if you did have problems with the fancords being too short how did you fix it.
sorry for making two comments. Your comp looks pretty sick.
@2lazytotype The fan cords were too short that's why I bought the fan controller. My fan controller came with extensions so I was able to get all cables where the were needed. The case is great though. It came perfectly fine, but I did have one problem. I banged the side panel with the window a little too much while building and it cracked. Pause at 3:25 or 5:15 on the first part and you can see the cracks. Other than that it's a great case, and I recommend it highly!
How much did this cost all together (The Build not the Peripherals) . Also would a nividia 9600 and 6gb ddr3 ram work better. I probably have no idea what i am talking about. the reason why i ask this is because i would like to build my comp using AMD. Yours seemed like a good build but i just wanted to check if i could use the other 2 items i asked about to make it better.

Gigabyte motherboards are the best in my opinion. I had the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R but then sent that back and got the Gigabyte X58A-UD5 and man is that a preformer with Sata 6 and USB 3.0. Great videos!! Take care.
@Kitarist88 Well it depends. If you game then 16:9 is a must because all games coming out today are in 16:9. Its also nice to have the wider screen for you can work on multiple programs at once.
nice computer, but gay tunes bro.

Hey man just for the future when you buy ram you should make sure to buy low latency ram. Low latency is also more important than ram speed.

@auswirkung Yeah I figured that out after I bought it. but I am happy with the speed so far.
