So why is a real bike one that has manual transmission,is it because uneducated people think its a skill to use a clutch,i taught my 8year old daughter to ride a manual bike in a few hours,is this the only thing you can do use a clutch if so well done

I wouldnt go for one meself. But I must say, they are actually mad looking bikes. Seems to be a grand take off on em and I didnt hear any bad reviews about them. I would love a go on one.

Hopefully there will be more of these kind of bikes in the future. It will be great for people who had crashes and cant ride manual bikes anymore. Best of luck whoever has one : stay safe. Ill stick with me gsxr 1000 but I will be giving the biker nod to everyone I see on one of these :)

Automatics suck for real....No power at all...The only thing automatic is good for is texting on the phone...So you could have a wreck...People really need to stop being lazy and learn how to drive a manual...The car/bike is more powerful and have that extra power you could use....This bike looks good though...Not really meant for speed...Its like a level 2 scooter...

I just read your pathetic comments, my advice is for you to think before you post. There are people that can't drive a manual because they are not able to. I know how to drive manuals but can't because a drunk SOB hit me sideways 2 years ago, broke my hip and my femur, now i can't drive manuals because of the accident, and looking at this bike makes me feel that maybe there's hope, I think this is a first of many auto bikes to come.

First of all there are no spelling mistakes as I meant to say 'ricer'. Second, the Veyron has a dual clutch 7 gear DSG/Auto transmission. The clutches are automated and you dont use a stick to shift gears. My main point was that I am getting tired of the clichéd "Auto's are for pussies". Seriously, youre not hardcore for knowing how to shift gears. Unless you race professionally with an actual sponsor, you can't be calling other riders/drivers weak. Why does it matter if people prefer auto.

It dont really have anything to do with racing...I hate to see them make a automatic bike...I dont care if it is a crusier...They used to sell alot of manual cars but now,all I see is automatics...People are too lazy to learn how to drive a manual...Thats one reason why the accident rate is high..Dumbass people driving auto's and texting.With a manual,you wouldn't really have time for that...Not saying you cant text but,that would cut down the accident rate down alot.

That car is a 7 speed auto/manual...Which means you can swich between the 2..Just like this bike in this video....I hope you realize that a manual is more powerful than a auto...That's a know fact...In this video,this guy races a fighter jet...In order for him to even stand a chance,he had to put car in manual mode....People can drive a auto all the want...Its way to borind and slow for me...You cant use the extra power with a auto...

I couldn't agree more about the comment of manual transmission. For some people, especially guys, they think that shifting gears is what makes riding in general fun, and driving an automatic is tame. I'm able to drive a manual, but I really just dislike it! I have an automatic car now, and I much prefer it. No worrying about stalling(happens to the best of us), or whatever else. I can just enjoy the ride without the few worries that a manual would give me.

I'd also like to add as well that I don't really care much about power or any other testosterone-precursored perspective. I would rather just enjoy the ride completely myself. At least, thats the perspective I'm holding about it anyway. Of course, each to their own, but I prefer automatics!

i never had a stall and i have been driving manual for a very long time, so i guess thats just you then, and dn-01 is not a auomatic in the way a car is an automaic, dn-01 uses hydrostatic constant variable transmission, meaning you wont feel the vehicle shift gears

I drove manuals for a decent time as well but I definitely had times where I stalled, so I guess you're lucky that you have not stalled, because like I said, it happens to the best of us :)

But as for the DN-01... isn't it automatic? Since you don't actually shift the gears yourself? Maybe that's a newbie comment coming from me, but thats what I thought automatic was all about... not shifting gears, no more stalling, etc?

keep in mind that for some people mastering a manual transmission is their one and only accomplishment in life and may have taken years for them.

For people who master it in a few hours it's absurd to put such an emphasis on such a thing.

I have a muscle bike and the control over shifting is needed, but a hydrostatic drive can give you the same control with manual mode.
