And honestly, if they are working in the IT/BPO sector, they are probably doing work they would be doing in the USA for American companies. Since dubai have let foreigners buy houses now more people actually live there.

It's not only Americans but also people from Europe, Israel and Africa who are moving and settling in India in large numbers.

People find it easier to settle in to dubia and the UAE becuase america was a country which offers alot of glamour like clean cities, excellent transports and decent roads.

Dubai is alot cleaner, with less traffic pollution, the power never goes out and has zero crime.
If you have a child that is born in UAE living standard are excellent subsidised housing, gas and power paid for, no college fees one free car and many more benefits. come back to me if india ever offers any one of those for foreigners

They pay tons just to live in a beach shack where they party 24X7. Just attend one of these rave parties and you will know why India is becoming such a hot tourist destination. I know several Dutch and Germans who spent 6 months in India and 6 months in their own country.
