  • good,,.....

  • beautiful :)

  • Es increible lo que puede hacer la naturaleza y el universo es maravilloso!

  • ฉันจะไปดู มันสักครั้งก่อนตาย

  • Dat skyrim

  • I'm going to antartica for work in 3 weeks. I fucking hate it there. Go every year. Talk about shit... But we go in summer... The 1st time was amazing but now I spend the whole year trying to get out of it!

  • @CalebS555 During the couple of weeks of ship offload? Everyone hates ship offload.

  • @CalebS555 Are you doing research there?

  • @CalebS555 I'll gladly take your place. I've always wanted to go to Antarctica.

  • Hehe My name is Aurora~ =)

  • truly amazing

  • people say fire is natures tv, but ide prefer this

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 the main chemicals of aurora are hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfer, and carbon, as the plasma particles hit each element they excite the element in the same way that electricity does to elements in an LED light. they appear whenever we have solar activity like a solar flare,

  • its beautiful

  • wow i only knew the northern lights :) but it's logical, both of them are polars anyway.

  • My Only Precious Wish Is To See Them In Real ...

  • God ! please ! I wanna see those in the real ! =(

  • My name is Aurora :-) I love it because it is so unique... :-D

  • please never ever delete this video.... It makes me love this life, please, thanks!

  • Beautifull... Can't wait how they did this in Skyrim...

    But still.. Just beautifull..

  • whats the name of the music ?

  • @MmorpgPRO93 Click on the more info tab, all the details are there.

  • If the aurora borealis is in the northern hemisphere, what do you call the aurora of the southern hemisphere ? Just curious...

  • @ZemplinTemplar Aurora Australis

  • @Antzarctica Wow, that was easy. :-) Thanks.

  • amazing!

  • now that i've seen sleeping beauty a billion times it's hard not to think of aurora as someone's name =P

  • LA BORA IN ITALIAN IS THE NAME FOR THE COLD NORTH WIND , THUS WE GET , BOREAL . I GUESS THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE IS OWNED BY AUSTRALIA ?

    GIANFRANCO FRONZI

  • Who wants to live this far north ? What do this people do for fun here?!?!?

  • @cubanboy740 Well it is South not North. And I have had more fun there than anywhere else in the world by far.

  • @Antzarctica Fun shivering to death?! give me a break now is nice but this is just ridiculous. You can swim, run, drive, nothing!

  • @cubanboy740 Yes, you can run swim and drive, and see the most spectacular sights on the planet. I've traveled far and wide, but have yet to see anything else that matches the spectacle or the people.

  • @Antzarctica Swim where ? The waters all frozen ?

  • @cubanboy740 It is an old tradition to cut down through 2 meters of sea ice to get to the water underneath for the mid-winter polar plunge. But there is a lot of diving that goes on over summer.

  • @cubanboy740 oh shut up you arrogant twat

  • @cubanboy740 All things considered, I want to live this far north... In the summer we play games and sports, get a tan and have a picnic or two, walk on the streets all night long ('cuz the sun never fully sets, there is always a bit of light) and sometimes we swelter to death. In the winter we make snowmen, have snowball wars, ride pulks, ski, skate, play games and sports, drink warm chocolate when we're cold, watch the aurora at night and sometimes we freeze to death. It's all in good fun. ^_^

  • @GrahamChapman i would so wonder what maniac is walking the street at night xD

  • @TheOneRebornElyrize Uhrr, me and my fiends (whenever they are in the mood)? ...Yeah, okay, I get your point; walking around all night might not be the #1 most common thing people do in any part of the world... Still, you shouldn't diss it. It's really refreshing and it makes you see the world in a new light... I'd go so far as to say that it's a poetic experience (especially if there are only a few or no clouds at all in the sky).

  • @GrahamChapman think ya misunderstood.. sure i also walk around at night :P i was just being sarcastic, i live in an arctic environment and yea.. thought it kinda sounded like you think we all stay up whenever we want xD

  • @TheOneRebornElyrize How is the summer in Sweden?

  • @PolishCatholic1 depends on where in sweden.. where i live its probably cold in your opinion but i can say i like it as im very sensitive to the sun xD

  • Comment removed

  • @TheOneRebornElyrize You're so lucky! I hate hot summer with sometimes over 32°C! I love cold and dark winter. I don't know why, I'm not depressed or something but I just prefer it^^ Here in central Europe it doesn't even snow most of the time.

  • @PolishCatholic1 you wud prolly get depressed if you lived here a whole winter :P i dont as i was born and grew up here, but humans are supposed to live in light. and ..well..sleep in dark. most people that come here go crazy xD but still.. wud prolly be fun for a short stay :P

  • beautifull

  • Nature is full of many Magnificence things !!! it comes from the same Niche.

"I bear witness that no God but Allah"

  • The sight is truly magical, for the single minute the video ran, it felt like an eternity, like watching gods dancing and courting, truly divine. I am left longing.

  • look how earth protect us by deflecting the charge particles and look how we treat the earth...

  • Someone please tell me the name of this song!

  • @Oddvtors click on the "more info" tab

  • @Oddvtors The SUCK SONG!

  • It's breathtakingly beautiful!

  • wish before i die i'll be able to see aurora....

  • UM BELISSÍMO ESPETÁCULO DA NATUREZA

  • whoaa nice

  • @Meddra45 Auroras are like snow flakes, no two are quite the same.

  • You can see them sometimes in Minnesota. I've seen them as far south as Minneapolis. They're weake and not as magnificent as the ones you see here, but they are there :)

  • ino what they are its somthing todo withe earths magnetic field

  • Do you hear the whistling and cracking?

  • @sgalbrec Nope, they are silent.

  • muy soso

  • es fanastico

  • me parace algo fantastico

  • omg, we watched this in science, and i was like, black beauty song!! scarily enough, i watched it a few days before

  • One day... Just one day I will see one with my own eyes... And I'm pretty sure I'll cry lol.

  • beautiful :')

  • Can someone please tell me why this happens? And how can I see one?

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 i don't really know how it's happening but it has something whit the sun to do and if you want to see one then you have to go to the area around the north or south arcitc circle around winter time :) we have it sometimes were i live (northen sweden)

  • @Jont3LProductions oh I live in nevada so I cant see them :(

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 that's to bad. you must see one some time in your life. :) it's time that you start to save money for a vacation in the north ;) it's worth it

  • @Jont3LProductions yeah when I get a job I"m going to save up because I hate living here, its to hot and nothing interesting really is over here other than casinos.

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 haha :) sounds good

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 you probably already got an answer but its basically solar wind. and you can only see them in the north and south poles if i remember correctly.

  • @thevoiceofreason94 ohhh. I thought t was something like the suns explosions that happen and they come to earth but they pass right over us thats why its only in the north pole and south pole

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 well....technically a solar flare could cause it too if my science teacher wasn't lying :p

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 I would like to know the same about the Aurora's!!:)

  • @Auroaroar some happen in the north pole

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 a lot of them happen at the north pole ive been told

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 when highly positive charged protons coming from the sun hit the magnetic fields of the earth at either the south or north pole, they spazz out. Without the atmosphere there would be no light, but the second they hit our atmosphere, they create light.

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 You can see them close to the poles in winter. In the north, Norway, Finland, Canada, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland and Russia. Above the polar circle is best, though they can occasionally be seen further south than that. Last winter I saw them a couple of times here in Denmark, but distant and close to the horizon.

In the south New Zealand, southern Australia, South Africa and southern Argentina. And, of course, Antartica.

They are caused by the solar winds passing the ionosphere.

  • @LarS1963 thanks, I already know, my comment is really old lol thanks though :)

  • @LUCKYJ3SS3 According to nat geo it happens when the sun fires solar burst(not sure of term) every in space but when it hits earth. Earth's magnetic field protects us from it and in result of an aurora.

  • celestial courtains! me quiero colgar de ellas!

  • cortinas celestiales...

  • Apparently this is gonna happen around where I live :3

  • subhanallah.....

  • It looks so magical. I want to see those personally too! :(

  • nature owe's you a million views bro !!!!

  • dancing bear spirits :D

  • I just saw auroras. They weren't as awesome as these ones but still they looked amazing!

  • Buena Vista, would love to see them in person someday

  • the aurora is the planet magnetic field and it is beatiful!!!!!!!

  • if your going to take the time to type "click on the "v" more info tab", why don't you just answer the question

  • they are beautiful yet it can cause blackouts and communication failure.

  • amazing..

  • Never seen aurora borealis like that :/ I live in Finland so I've seen my share of them. Guess it's been enhanced or something

  • I want to see those personally. :(

  • @wewyllenium don't worry in about 150-1500 years you will be able to see a aurora in the equator or nearby due to the magnetic reversal of the poles

  • @Vakrian : That's too bad.

  • sembrano grandi dragoni

  • looks like edited but i guess it's not. Oh God, I'm inlove with Auroras, very pretty!

  • Beautiful!

  • what do you guys do in antarctica? it might be worth the school to go down there

  • It is caused by the solar winds entering earth because the magnetic shield is weak in the north and south poles

  • y does dis happen

  • how can 35 people NOT LIKE THIS???? what is wrong with those people? man!!!!!!, people these days!!!!!!

  • my girlfriends name is aurora

  • What's up with all this God talk? Learn some physics, then you'll really appreciate this phenomenon in its full glory.

  • thumbs up if aurora is your name.

  • It's so beautiful that it doesn't even seem to be real -- looks like an animation done on computer or something.

Great video. Wish I could see this live one day!

  • wow, god paints a lovely picture.

  • @123serioussam ... its magnetic fields colliding creating light(s)

  • @oniondeluxe cool are you atheist?

  • @123serioussam ... what's that?

  • @oniondeluxe do you belive in god?

  • @123serioussam no...

  • @oniondeluxe fair enough ;)

  • come one with 1 mil views ;)) very nice!

  • looks cooler than a rainbow.

  • i wanna touch it :3

  • Stunning! Thank you.

  • auroras are pretty :]

  • wish that place was a just a little warm so i can fall asleep outside....nice

  • Aurora is my real middle name. And if you look up the name it a roman goddess(the goddess of dawn). is it soo cool. :)

  • What does God have to do with this video? Go read up how Aurora's are created. It's created by the radiation from the SUN that excites the gases in our ozone lair on both poles of our planet! What does God have to do about that? NOTHING! Are you saying God is the Sun? Odd... nothing in the bible says anything about that! The bible says God is in the clouds and Hell is in the core of our planet. I guess they felt stupid when they realized the earth wasn't flat and isn't the center of the universe

  • @sylvur GOD CREATED ALL THIS.

  • @ayinneo12 Pffft, and I created the stealth bomber

  • the world is just awesome .

  • i wondered how many people don't usually read the description in the info panel before asking questions???

  • except is has nothing to do with god...it's a scientifically proven phenomenon...Has to do with nature and space weather and the universe

  • @AnneClaireWDK scientifically proven is just a way to explain what we see, every person has his own views regarding supernatural forces such as God.

  • @Berrymore84 anders houdt je em ff! houdt je bek dicht

  • @AnneClaireWDK did you just assume everyone in the world speaks your language? English please... oh let me remind you just in case if you are unable to disprove the existence of God it's better for you to keep your mouth shut rather than sticking your nose in other people's business.

  • @Berrymore84 wow someone's in a foul mood today... and no i did not assume you spoke my language no so calm down.

There is proof that God doesn't exist actually. It's called the Big Bang and oh another one: Evolution.

Do you have proof that he does exists? Don't think so... And off course people can believe what they want but some things (like an Aurora) have nothing to do with god...

  • @AnneClaireWDK i think you just did a self shoot. Big Bang proves the universe is not random. Evolution is a theory to explain how organism develop through time. these however, do not disprove existence of God. in fact many Evolutionists are unable to account for the synthesis of a single DNA during Abiogenesis.

my point is, if someone believes in God he does believe everything is created by God including Aurora. so your attempt to mind other people's business is a disrespect.

  • @Berrymore84 I'm gonna ask you again; Can you prove that god DOES exist?

And it's not disrespect, it's just what I believe just like some people believe in God. Look we can discuss this forever and you just believe what you want to and I believe what I want to. I'm just saying that there like a 0% chance some supernatural force created earth and the universe but If people want to believe that than sure...I think it's just a shame though...

  • @AnneClaireWDK yes, monotheists like us can prove that life forming is not random, there's an observable purposeful intelligence within every creation, let alone DNA synthesis. Big Bang and Evolution are just theories to explain something, not disprove God. to understand better about supernatural force, you must first ask yourself what is "God" meant to you. eg: is he an old man sitting on his throne above us as told in fairy tales? we can argue this forever but we need to find common ground.

  • @AnneClaireWDK "but If people want to believe that than sure...I think it's just a shame though"

    - it's disrespect by saying so, did you know that? i can also say the same thing to atheists who failed to explain the concept of "conscious creation" of Abiogenesis.

  • @Berrymore84 Do you know how many Atheists get shunned by religious people...talk about disrespect. So think about that as well please. I do respect religious practicers as long as they respect Atheists just as much.

Might I ask what you think this purposeful intelligence in every creature is, because then you would've answered the question of WHY there is life on earth. No one knows WHY we are here...

  • @AnneClaireWDK to know God is to know ourselves first. a God is not a god if he doesn't create anything. similarly, a person can't be called a painter if he never paints in his whole life.

talking about ethics in debating, i never insulted anyone even the person constantly bashing me. you said you respect for others' belief but you think that's a shame, for me it's a discrimination. yes some religious people especially bigots run away from a debate maybe they have no knowledge.

  • nice
