I have tools that I carry everyday: knife, LED flashlight, multi-tool (2 of them), cellphone, wallet, tactical pen, watch, money clip, keys. I would never leave the house without these things. My wife refers to my 'kit' as my 'utility belt'. For some folk, a moleskine is such a vital tool. Not to *me*. But I understand.
ya know, Moleskines, despite their price, aren't JUST for fancy stuff, hell, it was even apparent that those guy stated in the history wrote anything and everything they wanted in it :D Personally I just like the page quality of the book, lolz.
I feel your pain. The first page is always the worst! Then you start to enjoy how well made they are and the varieties they come in; and you a-l-m-o-s-t get hooked. It's starts getting crazy with the haters and over the top with the "artistes". Bleck! I just want something that wont crash on me and loose countless memories; so what if they were dumb & beer stained entries. I t was my life. So I like them plain and simple.AND of you can find the same quality cheaper - I say go for it. Heehee!
That's sort of intimidating. The holy grail of note books!!! hahah I prefer writing, and drawing on my walls or on my arm. That note book seems to prostigious for me, it seems to have achieved more than myself frankly, which is in itself another obstacle. You know, that a note book, with no consciousness, an inadament object has some how managed to crawl it's way into history besides greats like Erny and friends. I'm concerned, be careful miss, your book might be possesed, be wary of it's presence
@acousticgrooven Hahaha. I completely agree with you. But when you draw or write on your arm it gets washed off. I draw on my hands all the time though or desks :) I will be careful. I used it once and nothing bad has happened....so far so I guess thats a good sign. (:
@isachiche Yeah basically. It tells you the history but they way they write it is like there just so super serious it's just so intense. LOL Oh and I just saw that on the first page they write this belongs too and your suppose to write your name. & then it writes that if stolen please return and theres a line where you can write how much the reward is. I mean why would someone do that. :S
@winged20 I wish I had an unlimited supply ~ i have so many things I want to use them for ~ kekeke~
I use a pocket weekly planner Moleskine for a wallet/calendar, also some books ill use for many years for notes (Bible study guide notebook, prayer journal, GTD organiser, artbook)
They are pretty sturdy, and dont fall apart, and the strap keeps the pages from getting bent/folded in a bag etc. and they seem to inspire this new community around them to create bigger and better things~
I LOVE Moleskines (smooth pages which lie flat, alterable cover, cardstock page option, durable, etc). but I found this video really funny!
