Zockermega, I had exactly the same problem but still got the achievement by following these exact steps. You MUST delete ac revelations from your game data utility AND saved data utility. Start the game, it'll ask if you want to update, select NO always, then start a new game, make sure you play offline throughout, and play through the game again until you have enough money to buy all the books again and it WILL come up next time. I got the damn trophy back in December just by doing that. It'll

To those who are complaining that re-doing the story again to get the trophy is a waste of time, it's a bigger waste of time waiting for the new update to fix this. I've had the same problem but got the trophy around early December by just deleting the game and save data utility, starting a new game while playing offline. It works if you do it, guaranteed.

If anyone hasn't gotten all of the books yet, just buy every book except for one and then delete the update from your hardrive. You'll then get the last book while offline and get the achievement.

The update will be arriving shortly and yes, unpleasantly you will have to start again from the beginning to obtain the SAGE TROPHY in the meanwhile, PS3 users have an alternative way to achieve this trophy by deleting the update follow these steps

1.Go to the Xmb menu

2. On the game icon scroll up towards PS3 Game Data Utility

3. Delete the update

4. Play the game but in offline mode to not connect to the internet and download the latest 1.20 Update

i am also having this problem, also with other AC achievements on other ac games, like for instance Airstrike, i believe on AC2, kill 10 guards with a single arrow storm, i even counted the bodies afterward, and i had 11., also the one where u drop a lift with brick oin one to kill a guard, ive done this several times, and even some times gotten 3 or 4 with the lift....nothing. if anyone is having problems with pyromaniac achievement (AC Rev), reply to this and i'll tell you how you do it.

LISTEN i have the soloution, if you havent already purchased all the books, go to your ps3 game memory and delete AC revelations(update) then launch the game, it will say you need to update it, press Cancel and play offline, buy all the books and you should get the achievment.

1. guys if you haven't yet gotten the trophy than just delete the update 1.02 under Game Utility Data and you will have to get it offline, but as soon as you get it, you can download the update again.

2. If you already have gotten the books you will have to start a new story and delete the update and get all the books. Although i don't recommend this because it's a waste of time and I'm pretty sure that the updates later on will solve this themselves. I hope.

Also, don't worry, your trophies will still be there if you delete your saved and game data utility :) the last remaining books cost a fortune so DO NOT upgrade or buy anything, save your money for all the books. Or go to PIRI REIS' shop, open the bomb ingredients, walk out, and open it again, and keep doing that until you get 25 of each ingredient you get when you open it, then sell them all to Piri for a large sum of money and keep doing that until you get to 400,000A.

Same thing happened to me guys, but I got it last night, here's how. Sadly, you will have to delete your save file and start all over again :/. Go to game data utility and delete everything to do with ACR, do the same thing with saved data utility. It'll ask you if you want to update to 1.02 again, ALWAYS say no, and continue without it. Also before you play it after you delete the game and saved data utility, play offline as well.

Spent a few hours the last couple of days getting 400,000 euro's together for the underground books, just to find out no trophy came up on my ps3 and I know both consoles are affected.

I have commented somewhere 4 days ago i think that this trophy was bugged due the 1.02 patch ... i too got the books 5 days ago and didn t receive it. I only had 1 book missing the day before the patch and when i installed it the next morning didn t get it. I should get it really before the patch :( Now i am waiting for an 1.03 patch that automatically gives the trophy if you have all books or else fuck off Ubisoft.
