This was a great video that explains a lot about SID. It was set with real world dialogue from both characters. Sadly many adults observe a child misbehaving but there maybe an under laying problem. As a pre school teacher and child advocate.. THANK YOU for posting this. :)

Great video. My 2.5 year old was just diagnosed with SID after 18 months of therapy. We just changed therapy centers to one that has more experience with SID. We are hopeful this will result in some help for him.

Thanks for commenting, Kat. It's interesting how many of my friends have identified themselves has having degrees of SID after seeing this or talking to us about our son. I'm certainly glad it has been documented now and that parents now have many more services to assist our children as they learn to navigate their sensory-filled world.

I would lick stuff all the time as a kid. It drove my parents nuts. I remember doing it to feel the texture on my tounge. I would so punch that dog or bear lady!
