I too was a kid when Tron the original came out Tron was special this has little of the effect that made that movie special non of the feel except in small ways of the original its like the shell of the toy with out the parts inside... Tron was the name of one of the central characters, that of the security program made by the Allan Bradley character (and of course resembled its creator again played by Bruce Boxlitner) So how can this be called Tron? The question is really is Tron dead?

Apart from that, this trailer, and the movie looks jaw dropping, and a good next step for films in 3D though i am not a huge fan of 3D)

@skinnynerd03 I'm not a fan of 3D really at all. It really limits a cinematographer to just shooting everything 100% clean and in deep focus, which takes a lot of the artistry away. Having said that, this is a film where 3D actually makes sense, as does pristine images and deep focus. So, I'm actually going to see it in 3D and be happy its in 3D. But 3D should not at all be used for most movies. Almost always, its a gimmick. Here, it makes sense.

Recent news came out saying the Christopher Nolan's cinematographer hates using 3D because it rarely adds to the feel of the movie, and he doesn't want to shoot Batman 3 in 3D. 3D is just a big gimmicky joke.
