  • @Frozoners really?? i thought that dinosaurs were thousands of years before hominids :0

  • Author Steve Alten's Megalodon books are being featured on the new PREHISTORIC CHANNEL for those that don't know. Alten's a best selling author and PREHISTORIC CHANNEL is brand new.

  • 0:38 is a bigger made replica :s so fake

  • If it's such a strong and dominant predator....what ultimately killed off all the megalodons? Like whats it's reason behind it's untimely extinction? Just curious though...not like I'm hoping it still exists, I would hate that.

  • at 0:11 thats exactly the same mouth i saw in an aquarium ive been to!!!

  • Looks like we're not at the top of the food chain anymore. A strange feeling tells me that we never were...

And btw, the there's 95% of salt water unexplored, so who knows? (Meg may still exist in the depths). Makes me never want to be in a submarine ever again!

  • meg can grow up to more than 150ft i mean look at the size of the tooth at 34 seconds into the vid!!!

  • it's a shame we won't see this shark anymore. i don't think that the megalodon is still alive.

  • Go to the video (The Megalodon -Worlds BIggest shark) <This one has more better pictures to show you how Cacharodon Megalodon Shark size

  • The Pictures on that video are fake dumbass

  • we never know... life is full of mysteries...=.=

wow am i smart or what? lol.. haha just messin with you guys

  • Some where around the world there is a trench that could fit mount everest and has never been explored, it is probably where megalodons will still live!

  • the marinas trench? or what ever its called the closet thing to a megalodon is a great white

  • Mariana Trench off the cost of Japan, but there is none down there sadly!

  • @zooman98 That would be the LAST place to see a Megalodon. The Abyss(Mariana Trench), is too cold for the Megalodon.

  • @zooman98 Lol I am amazed by How people would still think that such an animal could exist and not been seen today! Yes much of the ocean is unexplored, but that is because of it's depth. A Megalodon would not be able to survive in such deep waters. 1 - because of the high pressure and more importantly 2 because there would be nothing to eat. Most of the potential prey for the Megalodon or any shark is near the surface.

  • Look at the size of that tooth at 0:35. Biggest tooth I've ever seen!

  • :36 as though that were real...

  • In my earlier comment I wrote "fishmen", actually I ment "fishermen" xD

  • And there HAS been several so called "sightings" of this giant fish. At least, people want to believe it was a megalodon. There was a well known sighting in 1918 when two local fishmen refused to go down to the dock an early morning. Because they had seen an incredible big fish just the day before. The fishmen said that they had seen all kinds of fishes in the sea, and it was not a whale shark, it was a giant shark! They said that the "90 feet" long fish had swallowed several cages and swum away

  • Hey yeah I heard about that and they wouldn't go back out to sea until they had to because they weren't getting paid because of it. lol :D

  • fishermen and sailors also used to believe in mermaids

  • they are fossils- they were real-like millions of years ago

  • I read an article that in 1955 or -56, divers found 15 giant sharkteeth stuck in a fishingboat. Don't know the place right know, but I think it was somewhere outside California if I remember correctly. And the teeths was just as big as a mans hand. But the funny thing though, they were (at least then) new! No

  • megalodon could be alive they found a fish from 400 million years ago

  • no chance, megalodon is a predator, a fearsome one at that, it needs to eat tonnes of prey a day just to stay alive.

the fish is a predator, but only needs to eat a kilogram or to, hence it could last for a long time.

  • some "extra large-sized" whale sharks are consider to be slightly larger then megalodon

  • drammendanh,

You're an idiot...but I did see a pterodactyl at the duck pond the other day.

  • lmao nice

i a saw a magic pixiesaurus in my house having tea

  • i saw one near a bridge, charlie the unicorn was with me too

  • there is NO PROOF they aren't extinct,if you go along with whoever blatantly assumes to know it all about ocean life, saying they are all gone, your an idiot

  • what are the chances of that shark still being alive

  • as much as the chances of a dinosour still being alive.

  • You are actaully wrong, we haven't even seen a living dinosour. But we have seen a megalodon. And we havent yet reached the bottom of the deepest sea. I would say that we have only reached 5%. And i bet all the ancient fishes lives there.

  • oh really? When have we seen a LIVING Megalodon?

  • @Gichev90 Heh,whom is to decide whether it's a giant great white or a Megalodon? There have been sharks caught in the 5-6500lb area, and ranging from 20-27ft long, caught in the past 10 years.

  • um no, we have never seen a live megaladon. Put the hash down.

  • @drammendanh u kidding me? so you ahve seen a shark that has been extinct for the past 1.5 million years?

  • @drammendanh we have only searched 10percent of the WHOLE earths waters and the 90 percent left has it ever occured to u that we never saw it yet and if we did whoever did did not return cause they got eaten thumbs up if u agree

  • @drammendanh idiot, there were people that already saw the dinosours... Just look at ancient temples, there are many caving of dinosours...

  • leave the sharks alone you fools

  • you cant leave alone a dead shark

  • i did a report on these. also, when i went to peru, because 1$ here is 3$ there i could of gotten a megaladon tooth for like 10 bucks
