Pentium 4 is not good for PCSX emulator. Even if you overclock it to 4GHz, it will still not run a full speed.

I suggest that you buy a modern CPU architecture like sandy-bridge. i3 2100 for example is not expensive but it run almost all games at full speed.

@MCTwoNa sorry, you cant, your gpu don´t meet the minumun requirement for PCSX2 . you need shader 2.0 to see anything, and shader 3.0 to play at good speed

@Pelozaki gpu is not whats required as emulation takes cpu....i use a nvidia 260m (1gb ram) at low clocks and still get good speed...if want more fps i suggest getting newest build of 0.9.7 which has the remove mpeg fix..this removes all video playback (videos are loaded in background while playing so game calls vids when needed)..this fix skips all vids and enables you to have more fps...i use it all the time for ffx-2 as the bug for hi internal res still exists with all vids in game.

@MCTwoNa you need a dual core pc at least for high end games...dont look at mainly gpu as you mainly need cpu for emulation...pc games require both cpu n gpu...you can use a nvidia mx card and still game be slow if have a low end cpu...if need help just email me i can help out i have my emu set to where no problems at all occur and can even run alot of games below dual core with 0.9.7 build..2.0ghz dual core recomended for games like god of war but i can help

@eXxtrazZz thanks, actually first one was E4400 (bad overclocker for my, i sold it at first week) and then E6600 ( amazing! but too hot i sold it ) and then E2180 (cheap, good overclocker, not powerful enough but was my backup cpu for long time) and then E8400 ( very powerful, but too expensive to keep it, i felt guilty and i sold it in a month xD ) the last one was the E7300 (cheap and powerful, is my favorite, 2 years old and works like a champ in every game and aplication :)
