@fr00gie100 make sure you wait until you're 18 love!! You still have a lot of time to change your mind and although it may seem like that is definitely what you want you can easily decide otherwise. My rule is if I wait a year or two and if I still like it then it's worth it. Also, you should get a henna tattoo first to really make sure you'll like it :) <3

i agree with the once you get one piercing they become addicting, depending on person. all but my lip and traditional piercings are self done. my lip was done unprofessionally by a friend. i got one ontop of each traditional, my tongue and three lining down my right ear.

@janeeetle Im not her,But I had my belly button pierced around 8 months ago,mine took about 6 months to fully heal,and I changed mine at 3 months which i revise you not to do because mine got badly infected. Also you can swim after 2 weeks of having the piercing.

@xcourtneymuirx I heard it takes 6 months to fully heal, but I was healed up completely in 4 months. I changed mine at 2 months and didn't get an infection,but then again, I put pure alcohol on it 3 times a day. I also went swimming a few days after - I felt the chlorine felt good on it!! :P

When she's old it's not going to matter, no ones going to see it. You normally don't see older women wearing clothing that exposes their back, so therefore she probably wouldn't need it removed. Plus your back doesn't get wrinkly, so getting a tattoo there was a pretty good choice.

@RayvinAshlee the healing process for tragus piercings vary for everyone. It really just depends on how well you take care of it, whether or not they get infected, and how your body takes the piercing.

After 6 weeks, you'll be able to change out the jewelry. It takes up to 6 months-a yr to completely heal since there's not a lot of oxygen that gets to the tragus to help with the healing process. Allow your body to naturally heal, don't touch the piercing, esp with your hands (full of germs)

@RayvinAshlee I dont know if Claires do Tragus' and if they do, it can be quite expensive compared to tattoo shops that can do it for cheaper, so as long as you get it as a clean place :) I know Claires should be able to do cartilages though

@RayvinAshlee If you're also interested in my answer... I got my tragus pierce a year ago and mine actually never healed, had to take it out. I don't want to scare you. I did everything I was told to but my body just rejected it. I talked to another piercer and he told me, it's not uncommon. Although a lot of people are completely fine with their tragus after 3-4 month, a lot of people never are. The tragus seems to be a spot where the body tends to reject a piercing more often
