funny how you express yourself "clean, clean, clean, as clean as you can be" - I used to repeat myself that phrase over and over. healthcare + farming. nice work :)
@ashlymaedawn doing and talking about what you're doing are two completley different things. Any intelligent person would know this. I can do something all day everyday but I am doing not explaining why and how it's done. But then again there's nothing more exhilirating then pointing out the shortcomings of others, right.
You can take a tour of this guys mushroom hut in July and August. The tour was 18 dollars and an hour long! My family drove from Canada on our summer vacation last year. The tour includes the hut, the tool storage shed, and a red bucket out back!
could you let mew know where you get your supply of things used to grow your mushrooms, I so love mushrooms, but can no longer to hunt in the woods do to health and age, 67 young, and I am recovering from lung cancer surgery, Thank God they removed part of right lung and got all cancer, Lord we Thank You.....would like to know just how you grow yours fromt start to finish...Will be waiting to hear from you....Thanks Dan in advance
@RandomIdeas666 Quit being so lazy. Mushroom growing is all relevantly the same, with different mediums, but generally the same process. lol Lazy top comment.
@RandomIdeas666 Learning to grow mushrooms is an art, not just a random idea. I suggest you research thoroughly before you attempt anything, because done incorrectly, can actually be harmful to the cultivator. Trust me you'll be happy once you learn about the different stages, so if something goes differently than explained, you would know how to react.
i think from what i seen you are doing an excellent job your video shows you are not afraid of hard work or of getting your hands dirty. you are also doing things the some what old fashion way which i can admire take care reedlaf02@hotmail.com
Absolutely wonderful! Have been studying up on various fungi lately (don't quiz me, or I'll make you laugh!), albeit primarily from a medicinal angle, e.g., Trametes Versicolor, Shiitake, Chaga,etc... This video only further drives me to want to learn more about cultivation. Great video.
Good job on the video. I also grow mushrooms using the peroxide method. My growroom is about 1/2 the size of yours and very close in design. Keep up the good work.
Hi, first of all sorry for possible lingual mistakes. I am from Slovenia EU:)
Watching this video was very interesting. I also have same small scale growing mushrooms ambitions. I am experimenting and learning how to grow mushrooms and how to make spawn also. I am really happy that you showed us how you do it.
What is the concentration of hydrogen peroxide you add? Do you use wood pallets for oyster? Which kind of wood?
I like the structure you have put together.

I was hoping to see the end product: the sawdust in the trash bags with mushrooms growing through it. Didn't see ANY of that.
