Wow, I must say some people are terribly dense in this given situation. Ubuntu is a Linux Distribution solely aimed at user-friendliness levels similar to a Windows PC, also not something owned by Microsoft. Macs may be based off BSD (not sure if this is true or not) but either way you look at it BSD is a *nix system AKA based off Unix. And @ DaTbUn12, yes it is possible to get this effect in Fedora 8, look through your settings menu for "Desktop Effects" and enable them (suggested 64MB+ VRAM)

wow, for one this video is incredibly old using an old version of kubunut, but A) everything you see in mac now is taken from linux, since it is soley based on Unix, just as Linux is and apart from that all the desktop effects, come from linux. and Windows, although has a nice GUI etc doesnt have anything close to the desktop features you can get with compiz or KDE4. But well what would you know about it... either way I'm using Windows 7 and I love it.

Open the package manager and search for compiz. Install the main package. The dependencies will be selected automatically, so you don't need to worry about that.

You can install other packages with names like compiz_plugins or something like that for more plugins.
