@Slipfilth666 Pressure washer is a good idea but I don't have one. Might be concerned about spraying through the plug holes and taking off the powder coating. Can't stress how much easier it would have been if I cleaned it prior to getting it powder coated. Because they had to sandblast that's where most of the problems were introduced in cleaning. This is about the worst case scenario so live and learn. Was really careful with the degreaser and never thinned any part of the powder coat.
@Slipfilth666 after rinsing the VC the best thing for the grease would have been a steam cleaner, that would allow you to collect all the contaminates in a trip pan for proper disposal. :-)
