  • @SleepyGypsy86 Sorry to hear your experience with them has not been as good as mine. I am not sure why your account has not been approved on their forums, they usually approve them right away. What kinds of problems are you having? I may be able to offer some help.

  • finaly. its about time someone made this to pc. pc is the most versatile platform for any kind of game and this is the only thing missing

  • @nNorthWestern Yeah man. And if anyone can pull it off, it's Razer. :)

  • see. now THATS what im talkin bout.

  • Cool I want sixense to implement direct integration for Tribes Ascend and Blacklight Retribution. Some indie devs working on their first game made a Hydra-to-UDK integration set up.

  • @Daxter609 I'd like to see lots of developers pick it up. It's extremely easy to implement into a game, but does require editing of some of the engine code, which I'm not sure many developers would be willing to do.

  • @starwarsvideos Yeah that's why Blue Void studios made the Hydra-to-UDK patch and some you should do the same for CryEngine 3 and give it to Crytek for their next update in their engine. Since a lot of games already use UE3 they should try and convince developers to use it. The only thing they'd really need to work on is changing the animation to suit the hydra movement a little and maybe character models such as extended arms if you aim fair and etc.

  • @Daxter609 Yeah, that'd be nice to see Hydra support extended to several developers. Don't get me wrong; having Valve on board is great. But variety is always a good thing, especially for game controllers.

    All in good time.

  • @starwarsvideos Yeah one thing I noticed that when it came to non-M/KB PC peripherals Valve is usually the first company the creators go for.

  • @Daxter609 That's because they're the most open to that sort of thing. The company is small and closely knit, and Valve has always expressed openness towards things like that. Plus, they're super popular.
