You guys know something i have never had any training in microexpressions or bodyexpressions but i can tell you that all politicians lie. Just like all people lie.
Politician are sort of like people but they tend to be way more deceptive. its just a matter of when are they lieing? Well i know of a fool proof way to tell if their lieing.
Any time they open their mouths they are probably lieing in some way. Though
what difference will it make we have known for years they lie and did nothing!
@endtyrany The point of this video (I think) is to show body language and deception leakage in an area everyone can understand, to help people to learn.
right right- I just thought that micro expressions would have to be full because thats how I always see them in Ekmans METT training-- do you have any tips for me to get better at reading people? Anything at all.. I just started studying this 3 months ago and Im already so into it, but Ive already read emotions revealed, telling lies, and what every body is saying.. its like, its one thing to read about this stuff and another to be able to see it, especially real time
@betthisonesfree First of all you need to start learning the basics i came out as a natural so its a little easier for me and yes they have to be full.
and also, these are what i noticed- she smiled when he asked her about the fracture among the political leadership 40 seconds in she smiled and then quickly wiped it away, so wouldnt this be a variation of the dampened smile according to out friend ekman? she also shrugs with her hands at 1:05, possible lie? she fluctuates way off her baseline around the 2 minute mark and shows great difficulty of getting her point across, using filler words like "ahh" and holds her gaze downwards (continue...)
wait wait wait- arent micro expressions supposed to be full? as in they involve nearly every facial muscle in an expression and not just the mouth or eyebrows?
@betthisonesfree Not really, the face has more than 40 muscles that can make expressions, and they react while you talk.
There are full microexpressions, as you say, that involve all the face, and there are minor micro expressions that will just involve the mouth or eyebrows or both, maybe very slightly. It's hard to see 'em live without having it recorded and not being able to go back and have another look at it.
At 3:15 she begins to say no with her head until 3:38 = finger to nose even if she gives lots of illustrators (hand gestures one does when telling the truth)
3:64 = eyes closed eyebrows up, hasnt seen what she is saying, '’incredible courage of the irani people’
@betthisonesfree Well, actually I started the series Lie to Me and I liked it a lot.
Then i looked for real info and found training made by Paul Ekman, the guy that discovered micro expressions. I downloaded his training programs and started learning :D
Why don't you explain how it affects what she is argueing, People learn better that way. Like for instance if she said "The political prisioners have been grouped, shipped, and deported back to their homeland." and then touched her nose, you would tell us the symbolic meaning, and then apply it and tell us that she knows they haven't been deported yet.
Stfu it's called sensitive information. If u really want to know what's going on behind closed doors go to harvard, be accumulatively very moral (cause u ain't getting the job if u got even one skeleton the public is picky about) work 20/7, serve in the war (oh yeah and don't die). The good intent vastly outweighs the rare times they don't tell us things that would cause DESTRUCTION if they did.
@natergator34 This information isn't nearly as sensitive as what Bush tried to hide by always cozzying up to the Russians. I guess you would have to be extra nice to someone who you need to pay back, including the Chinese with this great treatment. In the instant described in the video, good intent does not outway the lie.
Very impessive, one of the few YouTube vidoes with mostly correct information. Look at her face durring the nose touch, and you can also see a microexpression of fear. But overall great job man!
@TonyXXX94 yes, she is one of the worst liars of them all. I dont think Ive ever watched an interview with her that I didnt get the feeling she was lying. Never thought of a er piece, but if you watch her mouth during that part she mouths words, as if to get confused with the voice in her ear and her own thoughts on what to say next. Look at Alvin Green for this type of ear piece technology. Ive seen nano sized ones that can be washed into the ear with ear drops and are undetectable
