You clearly don't get my point. This isn't about which game is better, I respect your opinion because you probably know way more about video games than I do. I, being musical, appreciate that the MUSIC, with the utmost respect, is better for civ 4. I didn't mean to question your knowledge of video games.

Already done long before your suggestion. And I had a hard time selling it too, I guess this game isn't in high demand, even used at knockoff price. And as a matter of fact I've been lately hooked on Freeciv (with the music of my choice) and am enjoying it more than I had this.
It isn't supossed to now, firaxis already moving on a civilization game for consoles to. Supposed to mail it this fall. Just a question but how long did it take you to get to the Monarchy tech? It took me forever.
Civ.4 crunches numbers at a pace of a simple kiddie calculator. Call To Power 2 crunches twice as much thus has way more strategical opportunities and is far more entertaining (and the music is more tasteful). This game gives you a feeling that no matter which way you play it you cannot find your opponent's weakness. I got rid of it, waste of disk space and time. Good thing I didn't pay for it.

How can you play a game intelligently let alone consider it fun when the freakin AI cheats on the same difficulty level! Obviously you're the type of crowd that'll settle for mediocre quality. But I've a more refined taste. Even the music is poorly chosen.
The AI cheats?? lol cheating is a quality dependent on free will, so artificial intelligence cant cheat, it can only do what programmers tell it to do. If u mean the handicap difficulty lvls, thats different, but their supposed to make the game more challenging. U just sound like a little kid that lost the game to the computer. if u cant win in harder difficulty turn it down a notch ;).
Way to get your point across in the most intelligent way possible. Misspelling a two letter word really gives you points in my book about intelligence, that's for sure.
How is the civ 4 music lacking in taste? The theme song won the 2006 awards for best vocals, and most of the soundtrack is composed of bach and his peers. You either hate the song because you hate the game or you haven't really been listening to the music.

Too many people assume "winning awards" means something. As if "award winning" can't be used as a publicity stunt. Some tracks at the beginning of the game are alright, But as you progress through the game they just get worse and worse overall shadowing out the experience from the good ones. And the theme song is crap as far as I'm concerned.

AI cheats, unbalanced rule set, really dumbed down interface and limited strategies compared to other Civ clones, even with expansions this game sucks, What an inferiorly programmed game, worst sequel of all. SAVE YOUR MONEY
Well then, dont complain about this on a music orchestration on one of the greatest soundtracks. Instead, badmouth it on amazon or on a Civ4 review. It's not that I cannot afford it, it's just that I don't think this game is worth more than a thrifty $7 budget buy (including all "expansions").

Already done long before your suggestion. And I had a hard time selling it too, I guess this game isn't in high demand, even used at knockoff price. And as a matter of fact I've been lately hooked on Freeciv (with the music of my choice) and am enjoying it more than I had this.

It isn't supossed to now, firaxis already moving on a civilization game for consoles to. Supposed to mail it this fall. Just a question but how long did it take you to get to the Monarchy tech? It took me forever.

Civ.4 crunches numbers at a pace of a simple kiddie calculator. Call To Power 2 crunches twice as much thus has way more strategical opportunities and is far more entertaining (and the music is more tasteful). This game gives you a feeling that no matter which way you play it you cannot find your opponent's weakness. I got rid of it, waste of disk space and time. Good thing I didn't pay for it.

its so slow beacuse of the amount of things u need to do. Theres no way you would be able to coordinate everything u need to do without pausing the game on every turn. Or other choice.. have a turn based game.
and ur right if u dont like intelligent games u probably wont like this one.

This game's a simple, idiotic, poorly programmed piece of work and only simpletons like you would enjoy it. I bet the most time consuming part while developing this game was it's graphics.

I meant the game is meant to be played intelligently. not intelligently made (im not a programmer so i really shouldnt make an opinion about it if i dont know what the hell im talking about). yea, most of the game system was copy/paste from previous Civs and add a few improvements (can u tell me a sequel that isnt?) And i dont wanna start an argument about this over the net. My point was made.

If only civ 4 contained elements from previous versions (especially back when Microprose was still developing it instead of Fraxis's constantly giving the series a "makeover") and played much them it wouldn't be all that bad.

How can you play a game intelligently let alone consider it fun when the freakin AI cheats on the same difficulty level! Obviously you're the type of crowd that'll settle for mediocre quality. But I've a more refined taste. Even the music is poorly chosen.

The AI cheats?? lol cheating is a quality dependent on free will, so artificial intelligence cant cheat, it can only do what programmers tell it to do. If u mean the handicap difficulty lvls, thats different, but their supposed to make the game more challenging. U just sound like a little kid that lost the game to the computer. if u cant win in harder difficulty turn it down a notch ;).

How is the civ 4 music lacking in taste? The theme song won the 2006 awards for best vocals, and most of the soundtrack is composed of bach and his peers. You either hate the song because you hate the game or you haven't really been listening to the music.

Too many people assume "winning awards" means something. As if "award winning" can't be used as a publicity stunt. Some tracks at the beginning of the game are alright, But as you progress through the game they just get worse and worse overall shadowing out the experience from the good ones. And the theme song is crap as far as I'm concerned.

AI cheats, unbalanced rule set, really dumbed down interface and limited strategies compared to other Civ clones, even with expansions this game sucks, What an inferiorly programmed game, worst sequel of all. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Well then, dont complain about this on a music orchestration on one of the greatest soundtracks. Instead, badmouth it on amazon or on a Civ4 review. Because, most people who are looking at this video already have the game, and would think its great if they actually came to watch this. So take this where your opinion might actually be valued.
