@halfhumanhalfzombie It is a fun little diversion, and it happens to make for one of the more interesting ideas for what to do in case of a clash of attacks that don't simply cancel each other out.

I just kinda wish that it wasn't quite so... loud sometimes. The clashing sounds and animations for that extreme length of time does have the chance to disturb others who might not quite be so involved in the match as you are. ^_^;

I'm rather unsatisfied by the fact that nobody actually got to fight Aizen until the "required shonen showdown" came around...he was allowed to basically use the power of "plot-hax" to break any and all remaining suspension of disbelief surrounding Aizen, the Soul Society, and Ichigo in general.

I love a lot about Bleach, but all too much of its potential otherwise feels wasted by its creator. Very sad.

her rukia is a trained fighter shes better prepared for more fights or battles not to metion orhime is slow she has no speed and also if orhime is stronger then how come when the battle of the aspadas were comming she had to have rukia train her orhime only has defense thats it other than that rukia pretty much has her pwned all she needs is bakudo 61 then hado 4 or pretty much use white moon sine it attacks from below and orhime is slow she would instanally die

Orihime can actually fight though. She's a black belt which is more than Rukia because Rukia doesn't do hand to hand combat.

Rukia vs Tatsuki in a fist fight? Bye Rukia... but Orihime dodged a sneak attack done by Tatsuki.

But Rukia has her zanpakutou, and shunpo, and kido. But Orihime has Soten Kishun and she can always heal herself... it'd be pretty weird.

I think Rukia would win because Orihime's a pacifist and would hesitate to kill Rukia, and that would be her downfall. Still love Hime <3

@FTWChappy Despite her complete lack of formal training (as you can see clearly here with this...unorthodox "style" of combat she employs), Tatsuki claimed that she could fight on the level of a black belt.

Whether or not she was just saying that as friendly encouragement after just a couple of pointers on self-defense, I can't say...but Orihime was able to incapacitate some (unseated) soul reapers without any trouble while wandering around the Seireitei with Uryu trying to rescue Rukia.

@Hichigo17 I've seen some of the Heat the Soul series. With 8ing involved, it definitely looks like it's a solid series. It does seem to be based on the same underlying engine as the one they use for Naruto: Clash of Ninja/Gekitō Ninja Taisen. I'm a fan of 8ing and the work they do, but I'm not really sure why the Heat the Soul series never makes it over here.

The PSP is graphically nowhere near a home console, since it can only output to a 480x272 screen...but it can still look pretty slick.

@Hichigo17 I honestly have no idea why Heat the Soul has never been released outside Japan, particularly since Bleach seems to have quite the following abroad, although not nearly to the extent that Naruto has managed to garner for itself.

This game and three DS games made the jump overseas as well as a Naruto game based on the same exact engine as Heat the Soul...you'd think that it'd be a no-brainer from a business standpoint, but maybe the profit margin on PSP games isn't attractive enough.

@squirlwisker Orihime and Rukia both have an alternate costume choice of their Karakura High uniforms. You have to buy them from the Urahara Shop after winning a certain number of matches as that character.

Toshiro, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Rangiku, and Renji all have school outfits as well. In addition, Kisuke can wear his old captain's uniform, Komamura can wear his helmet, and Yoruichi can wear her outfit as it appears after she has activated her Shunko.

@Kindkatie123 I found it in a Best Buy bargain bin...but failing that, I imagine it should be something that's at least relatively easy to find at specialty game stores or through online distributors. At the very least, it's not a very rare or sought-after game, so I don't think finding it should pose too much of a problem overall.

@Overhazard We were joking during the course of the match that I really suck at critical clashes...which is silly, because it's essentially rock-paper-scissors in rapid succession, so I should at least win some of the time. Oh well, Orihime's is a lot more fun to watch anyway.

I think to classify as impossible, it would have to follow the inner curves, and that would require more advanced secondary physics and higher ESRB rating than the uniblob does. This might count as "taut shirt" instead.

I think that we can at least agree that there's no way that's even a remotely realistic shirt...can you imagine what it would have to look like folded or hanging up in order to accommodate Orihime's physique AND be skintight at the waist?

Even pacifist Orihime would want to strangle Tite Kubo for designing her as such.

@YuuGiJoou Blame the modelers at SEGA for that, not Tite Kubo. I mean, he's been expanding her chest as the series goes along, but it's never been this bad. They stick out from her so much, you'd think she's wearing a Super-Wonderbra.

Are you familiar with Brooks bicycle saddles? They're made of this leather that can be flexible and bouncy, yet incredibly strong and hold their shape quite well. Video game Orihime must have special-ordered a bra from them.

As the description notes, I had a live human to help me out here. It's particularly notable in the final match, because a computer player wouldn't be able to figure out how to properly abuse Orihime's abilities like that, and no way would it be able to figure out how to use her critical attacks to override such a wide variety of my moves.
