whats really sad is the out come of what happen to alot of these trucks i see pics of them just sitting in junk yards rotting away like outlaw 35 its now just a rusted heap
I miss the old trucks too. The first truck I saw was Bigfoot at a ford dealership, back when they used to actually crush cars. The trucks were real, they just looked so much cooler, like tab1976 said, especially with those huge 73 inch Firestones. I enjoy the acrobatics of the new ones though, still fun to watch after all these years!
I like these Monster Trucks more than the ones they have today. Anyone else feel the same. I guess you always love what you had when you were a child versus what they have now, whether it's music or Monster Trucks.
@dobbins2550 ya the old ones were so much better they had creativity and didnt have to be a certain weight or a certain height or have so much horse power they were all different unlike now
@dobbins2550 I totally agree and I'm only 23 years old...I only got to catch the end of this style of monster trucks. In the early 1990s when I first started attending monster truck shows, these full bodied trucks were still around...But the fiberglass tubeframe trucks were also starting to become more abundent. I personlly perfer these fullbodied trucks to the newer ones...It doesn't take 40 feet of air to make it an exciting race. I also agree with you about older music being better as well.
0:43 Now that is one good looking monster truck. I always prefered the trucks running 73 inch tyres, it looked way better even if it did make the truck heavier and more cumbersome
Duraliner giant is an awesome looking truck

It's just a shame these trucks were kind of fragile, but at the same time, they looked way more better than the ones you see today
