I think he has difficulty in organizing his thoughts when speaking, or rather in formulating them because of the rapidity with which they come to him. Just hypothesizing of course. I think that's part of being the creative individual that he is, continuously having associative thoughts. Which can become genius upon crystallization (into, in his case, great films).
