im sure oregon has arab shows too, look on the aha website or search for your local breed club

Where was this held?! We never have any arabian shows in my area Im always stuck going to the buckskin shows or to open shows where I am like 1 of 4 arabians showing there... lol

This Youth Nationals was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We used to get adult Nationals too, but they've moved to Tulsa. What part of the country are you from? I hate being far away from the arabs while I'm at college.

@Mandalark all i have is stinkin quater horse shows to go to... I am looked down on because i have an arabian... 2 acctualy there are many about 3 people i know in a 50 mile ratious that have arabians... everyone else has stinkin quater horses......

I wouln't be going in '07, I *might* make it in 2008 though... I haven't decided whether or not I would take one of our purebreds or a HA... I know of a grey arab/hackney gelding that I might be able to lease, he has TONS of action, AWESOME canter, and an even better hand gallop...

Thanks :) I absolutely love costume..Like any saddleseat class, there's just something about it that gives you a totally natural high, except it's 10 times better in costume. Everyone is watching you and it feels like every stride could just take you and your horse flying through the air. It's an amazing feeling...

If I *do* somehow make it to youth, I'll have to get a new costume or rent/borrow one. I love my costume, it's just not national quality though.
