Hi! Will this work on a 2007 C30? Volvo says, the 2007 (using the same radio as an older S40) won't be able to cope with USB, but after seeing this, I think it will be. How does this exactly interact with the radio? Is it simply plugged in between the radio and interface or what exactly happens?
Hi. If that is the same radio - you can send us the picture of your headunit and we can check it out. The adapter connects to the extension port of your cars stereo with the optical cable and you can plug your USB into the adapter. So basically the adapter is the link between the radio and connected device (such as USB mass storage device, etc.)
@gromaudio Okay, well, headunit is always the same (simple interface). The only way to determine what radio is fitted, is to look at the display when the radio is turned on. Mine says "High Performance" (mid range radio)... What is the one in the video?
@0232216 Hello. Check if your stereo is optical fiber. If so - the adapter will work for you. You will be able to use the steering wheel controls to change the music.
@gromaudio Thanks ! And does Gromaudio use all 4 speakers and amplifier of the High Performance Soundsystem ? Because with a parrot it doesn't and the sound loses quality.
