if you got a wood skimboard you need a upgrade to a fiberglass one like the victoria foramie. I had a wooden one and did't get anyywhere. no i got a foamie and im 13 showin up alot of people out there that have been doing it for years..... nand the way you ge out there is run freakin like crazy fast lol and throw it out.... trust me i tried it this summer and did it within a day :) good luck skimmin :D

fiberglass is better cause they are much more bouyant and u can catch waves with em like on the vid. buy they are like $200 more expensive lol.
