  • one of the best tunes ever made, cheers frankie

  • excllent track thank you for posting

  • JESUS CHRIZZZ...Youtube comments crack me up. This Break Boys track was a direct response to Pistol Pete's "Don't Bum Rush The Sound" which copied the style of the first Break Boys "And The Break Goes On". That original sampled "Apachie" not The Winstons.

  • OH YEAAAAAAA....

  • Yeah love it!

The sound of dingy Bristol rave scene '89!

  • had this spinnin last week, love it, thanks = )

  • this tune was only for the hardcore. you had to give it ya best crank up to this fa real lol.. love it :-)

  • can sombody tell me what that dub tune is that used this sample? i really want to find it

  • this allways got my skiny white ass on the floor.

  • GREATTT BREAK TUNE!! simply special :D HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE!!

  • OHHH YEAH!!!!!

  • The legendary frankie bones at the helm once again..true bones style..king of the break beats..

  • Ruff cut, goes versatile ! love the flip of this too

  • played at sunrise...nice

  • what a tune - wicked drum breaks

  • another funky dope gem for the 30/40somethings to reminisce over. along with masters at work and todd terry, some kickass dance tunes.FRESH for 89.... You Suckas!! btw is the synth in the intro a sample? if so can anyone tell me where its from please?

  • The synth is taken frm Yazoo Don't Go.

  • thanx chicagowax n tambian, the apache break i know all about. it's my all-time favourite drum break, actually.but i'll be hunting down the yazoo track. cheers pepole!!

  • UR Welcome

  • BTW...Tambian says that some of the sampleas are taken from Michael Viners Original 'APACHE' from 1973.

  • Yes thats absolutely right!

Its the bongo pattern im referring too!

    *Michael Viners Incredible Bongo Band*

The track is called *APACHE* its on my favorites if u wanna have a listen!

    Tam:)

  • I am down with the origin of this breakbeat now...thanx for the tip!

  • @Chicagowax It's actually not Michael Viners Bongo band but a more direct rip from from The Winstons - Amen Brother.

  • @golden88aged

The synth part is from Yazoo's 'Don't Go' watch?v=UpjwSxg-_os

  • @golden88aged you people must probably be house funs cause there is not even one [hip hop'] break boy who does not know Apache. Apache is the Bronx National Anthem since 1973

  • Proper wearhouse rocker ! TUNE ... !

  • Notice New Order's Confusion sampled with Yaz-Don't Go. WILD!!

  • BUMRUSH THE SOUND!!!

  • YES YES!!!

  • Yeah tam, Frankie Bones produced stuff always did massive dancefloor damage at all the raves back in the daze(so I heard LOL!).

I was a massive fan of Frankie Bones and just got anything with his name on it! Same for Tommy Musto, Lenny Dee and Victor Simonelli etc al.

    Good times!

  • I think ive lost count the amount of times

Michael Viners Original 'APACHE' has been sampled...not bad for a track that was released way back in 1973!..

But this track did some real damage regarding the outdoor raves of 89.

    Nice post!

  • @tambian yes mate this did some proper damage my feet are still hurting from 89 ha ha the best days of my life the whole outdoor rave seen loved all the acid house and wicked tunes like this
