i found Winamp to be heaps better then WMP, as soon as i directed Winamp to my music folder it found and displayed every single MP3 i had, i tried the same thing with WMP & it didn't even find HALF of them, not to mention that WMP is very buggy!

winamp - over rated and all the plugs in really suck!

vlc - boring...

wmp - fair but enhancement are so poor

i recommend JetAudio, try and you'll see the difference... it blast your music life!

Easy choice guys. You dont have to pay for any of those, what does that mean? It means u dont have to choose which 1 of them to get since its not a car you are getting just gem em both since the two of them are great.

one thing that drove me nuts with VLC is I could NOT find a way to hide the control bar.. so I couldn't get true full screen for video...

im doing just the same...music winamp, video vlc....

vlc is much faster for xvid anime and winamp doesnt play h264 very welll...
