The tire store owner was smart. Not only did he recognize when it was appropriate to use force, but he also refused to speak to the press.
While it's good to try to spread the word about the benefit of an armed citizenry, you can't count on the press to convey that message properly and with respect to the person who was compelled to employ such force.
We must remember that the press are largely at odds with RKBA and they will most likely taint any law-abiding armed citizen as the criminal.
AMEN! Cleaning our society! I think every law abiding citizen over 21 should go through the training course and be given a handgun. -Crime problem solved!
Technically if the employee had a concealed weapon and permission from the owner to carry it he wouldnt even need a concealed permit. :) keep this in mind if your a store owner. The concealed class is getting to be more of a pain in the butt and its also costly.
Grear, too bad he didn't take a few more of these feral beasts out as well. And why would you need a concealed carry permit on your own business premises? That seemed an odd comment
haha sucks to be a bad guy in houston. good on you shop owner. i'm glad to know i'm not the only one ready to defend my life and property. not to mention the lives and the property of those around me.
@ryangrover1 hey man i agree completely with you. i just suggest exercising extreme care for the law when protecting other people or their property. i live in tn and we cant use deadly force to prevent robbery; serious bodily harm or threat of death must be present to use deadly force when it come to other people or property. however inside the my house we got castle doctrine laws dont matter if you are armed or not; child or adult. i tell you what house intruders get 1911 instead of 911 period
@TheArmedCitizen Thank you, I took the liberty of editing it into this "Spread the work like wildfire to a nation of peaceful sheep and teach them that when the wolf attacks, you must fight to preserve what you hold dear. Then let the sheepdogs flood our Capitol and demand not to be defanged" - thearmedcitizen, please let me know if this is alright with you, thanks again for letting me use your words.
I wouldn't say that. difernet states/cities have different laws. People should check there local laws. I live in Indiana and we have open, & concealed carry. 15min away in chicago, you can't even own a hand gun. Also some states have the castle law, and some say that you have to flee and call police.
if all people were good, i would not carry 2 lbs of steal with me every where i go. it's b/c of people like the robbers here that force me to the discomfort of a glock in my pants or ankle. i don't know why i have chosen to protect others from these people. but as long as there are those that want to harm good people we will be there you cannot tell who we are in a crowd. but when the "bad" people come out i hope that one of us are there to run towards them with judgement

DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS. I heard they have an express lane on death row, if 2 or more poeple see you commit the murder, you go to head of the line!

I find the news reporters comments enlightening as to their bias ... she says "in both of these cases, no innocent victims were injured."
Statements like these show the liberal bias of the media because they believe that people should not be allowed to carry a gun.

No "permits" needed on your own property. He could have 4 guns strapped on, one for each of the bad guys...

No...spread them like wildfire to a nation of peaceful sheep and teach them that when the wolf attacks, you must fight to preserve what you hold dear.
Then let the sheepdogs flood our Capitol and demand not to be defanged.
