@DominiqueDespoix ZeroWings was a Japanese game. When they ported it over for the genesis/megadrive, they got a person to translate it the opening to English. He failed, miserably. He didn't actually know how to make a good sentence in English, and literally translated Japanese into English without going over it or adding proper grammar.

Thus a failure of the English language was born and one of the most popular(and one of the first) memes of all time.
