  • Leave it to the Russians...

  • Soviet Beast

  • I wan´t to fly with this plane!

  • Dear Santa...

  • This Russain-Ukranian cargo-plane was transporting a couple of DreamLiners and A-380s. Though it was still some room for several aircraft carriers... ))) Ok-Ok, this one is just BIG plane.

  • 0:56-0:57 to see antonov eclipse

  • soviet engineering at its best.

  • This made it to #2 in my top 3 list of coolest aircraft engine sounds.

#3. Antonov An-22 (sweet music to the ears)

#2. Antonov An-124/225 ( epic, a sound that lets you know that a football field is flying over you)

#1. Lockheed C-5 Galaxy ( the greatest sound uttered from anything, ever) (deserves a grammy)

  • So big it needs wheels for engines

  • A week later it takes off.

  • Certainly an awesome and cool airplane, but I have to say, it is pretty ugly :(

  • "Our Antonovs will block out the sun!"

  • lift that big ass for sasha!!

  • heavyweight champion of the world

  • Neat-o!

  • Interesting Engine Sound. I seen this Jet come to Columbus Ohio in 1992.

  • this magnificent aircraft is so big it blocked out the sun great video !

  • Who says the former Soviet Union did not make outstanding aircraft! The sound it makes at 1:02 is wicked.....A magnificent piece of aeronautical engineering.

  • @RichardEllisxyz The Bear, a plane so loud you can track it with submerged submarines.

  • @Rileyman2rr yep, his motor sound is higher than concorde

  • @Rileyman2rr

This is not a Bear, it´s the An-225 Mriya, or in the NATO-Code called "Cossack".

The name" Bear" also is a NATO-Codename, but for the Tu-95, a large, four-engine turboprop Bomber.

  • @Schwarzenfels You obviously didn't read how my comment was a reply to another comment noting how nice Russian planes sounded. I was countering this point by making the assertion that the Bear, with 4 sets of contra-rotating propellers was so loud that submarines could keep track of them from underwater. I am well aware that the An-225, the plane in this video, is not a Bear. Thank you for clarifying it for no one at all.

  • Built in Ukraine!

  • WOW NOW THATS ONE FUCKIN BIG AEROPLANE

  • ich möchte das geld haben was die Antonov allein am Boden für Sprit wegbläßt^^

  • the stupid camera focused on the bald head!

  • I remember it was a charter flight of the Fat Bastard

  • what do they carry in that thing, trains???

  • @stretch34318 nope, Chuck Norris, it's the only thing that can

  • @matresyoyo shut up with chuck norris. He's weak as hell. I'm not saying i'm stronger, but you know.

  • @stretch34318

the smaller Antonov An124 actually DID.

Apparently they carried an electric locomotive for Switzerland in the cargohold. That is pretty amazing. Saw that on some tv show.

  • now that's one big-ASS plane:D

  • you said it

  • Sieht geil aus wie sie durch die Sonnenstrahlen fliegt. Haste mal gesehen was da bei den Triebwerken rauskommt
