  • What a shity car LOL. Half the trunk is filled with a single laptop

  • I don't need 30 minutes. I need 15 only.

  • @qingqingyep Thats nothing, I need 10 only

  • Why the hell did he had to film the car too?!

  • wtf? @ 4:21

  • ... Can't find a Barebook THAT IS NOT A CLONE >:(

  • if only I had a few thousand dollars and ASM programming experience :P

  • chick car haha

  • What is with that sound track? And this video contains no useful information. :(

  • what barebone laptop did he use?

  • no heat paste?

  • i have the same laptop but mys is a alienware sentia m3200

  • how have u got the same then? And alienware are a big fail. N1 on wasting about £2000

  • Nice music!

  • where can i buy a barebook notebook?? i tried newegg and tigerdirect .. im not looking to spend much on the actual box..just on the components like the cpu etc.. do u have any advice?

  • can anyone tell me how much a laptop shell or "barebook" costs??

  • what happened to the cooling paste?

  • you dont really need coolent past on a notebook cpu, it doesnt produce as much heat

  • You should, infact - you must really.

  • yeh but not really on the newest cpus, as a result they are infact producing lower wattage and heat...

  • what are u stupid?!?!

  • dont you mean ur stupid, newer cpus are producing lower wattage, some cpus only produce 30watts of heat, as a result the cpu is cool and discrete as no fan is really required for the notebook

  • chip creep is a result of even the slightest increase in temperature....thermal paste prevents such an issue...not just for hot procs. Thermal paste should always be used. You never know what room temp your laptop will be in. CPU temp can rise at any point at any time. Its more precautionary, even on low wattage procs.

  • no, chip creep is a result of thermal paste expanding and contracting from the heat, thermal paste sticks the heatsink to the cpu so when ever you want to take the heatsink off the cpu gets pulled out with it. anyways this does not occour with newer systems and im dont know why everyone is being all big headed because i have a laptop which im using to write this comment that hasnt got a heatsink of fan attached!!!

  • I can understand no fan but cpus without a heatsink go pop, they use less power but not that much less lol.

  • not all cpu's die without a heatsink... infact iv known some to perform better when hotter then usual lol

  • Proof? sorry but I have never heard of that happening. Must be new technology running at low rates because even old technology dies once you take off the heatsink. The E4500 works at 1.2ghz without one but thats not normal clock speeds. They usually last up to 10 - 20 seconds without any damage. Its either that or theres no stress being put on the cpu you speak of.

  • heard of intel ULV?

  • Didn't know that, still slightly slow compared to normal but still not bad most likely expensive considering its intel though :P.

  • there not actually that slow the Atom processors are single and dual core but the Z500 Atom doesnt even produce 1 watt.

  • They aren't slow but they are compared to normal cpus is what I said. By about 1ghz depending on what modern one because some of them go up to 3.4ghz stock and thats per core as well. Ofcourse it doesn't produce 1 watt, I think the word you're looking for is consume :P

  • what are you retarded notebooks create a large amount of heat.

  • wtf, your the retarded one, yes notebooks generate alot of heat but i dnt need some canadian telling me something i already know and calling me retarded. notebooks dnt use as much power therefore there isnt really a need for thermal paste to be applied, even tho the heatsink thats provided should already have the thermalpaste applied.

  • you can never have too much thermal paste!

i love how you added the canadian part so classic, what it has to do with this boggles the mind..

  • yeah lol, sorry if i offended you about that, i get abit aggressive at times lol, and yeah you can actually, too much can heat the cpu up because of the mass pf heat its gathering, look it up or something

  • canadians and americans are the same things anyway so sheesh

  • song?

  • This was way cool, but what were you really doing? Updateing it? From what to what (I need to know because I need to do that)?

  • That is quite a comment E.Jean has left you! Video shows well visually, but doesn't quite go into detail for those who are..less technologically advanced.

  • ChuckNorrised, You Handsome Devil You!

Your video was simply fantabulous. E.Jean loves a man who knows his way around a hard drive.

    Ravishing Regards,

    E.Jean
