  • The guy in the mustang sold him the chevy.. so he made the guy think it was fast....lol

  • Shitting on Fords as usual...move along nothing here.

  • those mustangs will just never learn

  • like always....chevy will shit on fords!!

  • @elrances Yeah thats right. This time it only took an extra 77 cubic inches to get the job done.

  • see I have a 84 trans am with a engine swap 383 stroker edlebrock set up I have 3.42 gears and hooker super comp headers with a th400 tranny took me two years for me to do this I am pushing middle 11's on the track would be faster with a trans break but long story short 383 strokers are for masive amount of torque mine rates at 460 tq and 410hp I am even suprised that the mustang got the jump even if it was early 383 stroker motors are known more for the high torque

  • @thunderup86 If you would have used at least ONE period, this bunch of shit you typed might have made sense. How about this: I have an 84 Trans Am with a 383 stroker, edlebrock set up. It has 3.42 gears, hooker super comp headers and a th400 tranny. It runs middle 11's on the track, but would be faster with a trans brake. Long story short, 383 strokers produce massive amounts of torque. Mine is rated at 460lbs. of tq and 410hp. I was surprised the mustang was even able to get the jump. Better?

  • @stubs28MAR10 thank you so much. it is by far so much better. I am just so happy there is grammar crime fighters out there, such as yourself! I feel bad for you. WIth all the misspellings and horrible punctuations, youtube must keep you very busy. I hope you go around all day doing this, because this has become a epidemic of vast proportion. We need to stop the language art deviates who run amok. Thank you again, and I hope your mission is a peaceful and successful one.

  • @thunderup86 I see that you tried to use grammar and punctuation on your reply but still failed. You are actually the first person I have taken the time to fix. It's not a "mission", I am just tired of reading comments that make NO sense and look like they were written by a 4 year old. I hope that you are not above the age of 10, if so please tell your parents that you need special help in the English field. Good luck!

  • @stubs28MAR10 hmmm I smell troll. you need to grow up. The problem I see is for somebody that has such a problem with punctuation and grammer, sure likes to go on youtube alot lol. You could have let it be, but i'm guessing you like to have the last word. Anyways, the way I see it is for somebody like you, youtube is just not the place for you. I mean people are going to type fast and yes they are going to make clerical errors time to time. PLease try to stay on the subject of the video thanks.

  • @thunderup86 Grow up...lol Your a funny kid. I actually don't spend much time on youtube, but when I do go on there it's nice to read an intelligent comment. Your not helping your cause by replying, especially when you mention the "last word"... Hypocrite, stop replying to ME. I don't want to read what you have to say, it hurts my brain! Hurry up and finish reading this before the interenet connection in your trailer goes out.

  • Torque is king on the street

  • @1355550 if it was then everyone would be racing diesels :) j/m

  • shoulda reved the fuck outta your RPM's

  • like how the mustang took of on 2 honks and still got beat

  • I love how the guy who honks always cuts the 3rd honk short in order to get a quick jump on them.

  • fuck this is a v6 thats why this piece of junk beat it

  • @947765m ive beat gt's in my 210hp 78 there's no way if that camaro is really a 383 that the mustang is a v6

  • @78camarob doubt you beat any 87 -93 stangs

  • @78camarob

i have beaten some and some have beat me

  • @78camarob i like how u keep it real

  • Can't beat a 383 stroker. especially a 95+ stang outfitted with the low end Gt model engine.

  • total rapage!

    camaros' are fucking beast!

  • those were like 12 second cars ...

  • put a LS 454 in the camaro and that mustang won't have a chance.you won't need turbo, supercharger, or nos that camaro will run at lest low 10's in the qurter.

  • @bigorangetrucker size doesn't mean much anymore. no need to call names.

  • now if the 306 was a 347 it would have kept up or ahead of the 383 thats my thought cuz the 306 put up a good fight

  • haha wtf is a god damn 306 thats stupid

  • @usnavyseals99 302+30 over-stock stoke

  • Take that bis ass hood scoop off that maro and ull drop 60lbs!!

  • no shit, i first stated that the 306 was most likely a forged 306 and if that was the case a forged 306 has lower compression than a stock 302 or a stock 306 because of the forged internals... the poster of this video said that the 306 has a novi supercharger on it now ... so that leads us to believe that it was forged after all.. and since there are no GT badges on the car it makes me think that it was in fact a crate motor and 80% of crate 306's are forged for boost. but thats just my opinion.

  • @manten88 For the 94-98 model years Ford offered the Mustang with the 5.0 (94-95) and the 4.6 (96-up) V-8s without the GT package. It was sold as a GTS and was basically a sleeper GT

  • Comment removed

  • because you would have to be a retard to bore a 302 to a 306 without adding forged internals while you have the engine opened. as the publisher of the video has stated the stang now has a paxton s/c on it, so im sure he had forged internals. which would make that 306 indeed slower than a 302 until some kind of boost went on it.

  • @manten88 306c1 does not make less power then a stock 302 dude.u dont lose compression when u bore out a 302 u gain compression...and if the block is getting bored over then most people get the heads done and shave down the combustion chambers..smaller combustion chambers, bigger pistions=higher compression.higher compression=higher hp.....peace.

  • NO offense, but the stang didn't stand a chance.

  • In the end, bigger cubic inches always wins in most cases...

  • ok first of all a 306 is just a 289 or 302 bored the compression really doesnt change that much and i have owned plenty of mustangs including my 89 saleen and traction is always a problem even n the new ones but u throw a supercharger or turbo on a 306 and u aint gettin beat by much trust me

  • @saleencuddy by much, do you mean as long as its a big wheel?

  • There is a paxton on it now and it goes tens

  • now thats what im talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @F0R3V3RD3AD everyone that read this guys comment is now dumber for doing so...

  • @manten88 did you really just say that? even if nothing but the bore size changed, the compression would be higher. why? does forcing more into the same space make any sense?

  • @manten88 a 306 is just a bored out 302

  • @manten88 it could be 94 or 95 ..Badges does not mean a thing..nothing is cheap about a forged motor same price for forged 306 or forged 347...lower compression is not determended by displacement it is determened by piston dish ,head flow size

  • head chamber size... i knew what u meant

  • @manten88 a 306 isn't a stroker motor. It doesn't make it a cheap forged motor because unless you buy forged crank and rods, they will be stock. If everything else other then being bored 30 over is the same, the 306 will have higher static compression ratio do to larger volume, I believe it would be marginal. A 306 is basically saying "I have a freshened up 302" and that is all.

  • @manten88 WTF?? you dont know wtf your saying!!main reason ppl build 306's is because theyre rebuilding there 5.0 and they go 30 over..and they dont have less compression unless, less compression is intended for boost!

  • @ronbunch1 yea ronbunch1 is right i have a 74 chevy truck with a 306 and an edelbrock supercharger

  • @manten88 most 306s i know are 10:1 + compr, theyre high winders too!

  • @manten88 there is no such thing as a 306 "stroker". unless its a stroked 289. good god man a 306 is a .030" overbore. stroke and rods the same as 302. also, they are going to be relatively the same on power....with the same heads and camshaft.

  • @manten88 Um actually a 306 is not a stroker. Its a stock stroke and rod length 302 with a .030 oversize pistons. The .030 over bore itself wont make any measurable power gain unless the pistons are higher compression. However if someone is going to go to the trouble to bore the motor out they probably have a nice set of heads, cam and a better flowing intake. Thats where the power is going to come from in a 306

  • @manten88 uh...............what? there is a lot of factors that go into things on engines......... less power? uh ........what? not everyone is a good engine builder and can put together a good combination of parts, if you make less power with a rebuilt 302 that is a 306 now, your a moron...... sorry.

  • @manten88 a 306 isnt a stroker, its a .30 over 302. and comp. depends on the pistons used....and heads too

  • @manten88 Or it could be as simple as the guy took the GT badges off. Seems a little more plausible.

  • @manten88 a 306 is not a stroker motor , all it is a a 302 bored .030 over stock , my 88 mustang has a 306 an it has more compression than stock . there for more power not less

  • Mustangs are good for hookin but that Mustang should of known what was comin to him

  • turbo 350 is a TRANSMISSION dumb ass! its not a turbo like the one that makes boost!

  • turbo 350 is a transmission

  • mustang got the jump off on the camaro but the camaro caught it. chevy ftw

  • i'd say the mustang held it's ground for how vicious those 383's are supposed to be. musta been the cheepy

  • Mustang hooked... Camaro didn't. Bald drag radials will do that to ya. Went 11.88 on slicks

  • There's probably a 100 hp difference there. Not suprised, but the mustang got off the line VERY good.

  • "What is a Camaro?" and were told it was "a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs."[6]

  • hey thats what'll do

the only way to check if u made improvements on ur ride is to get one of ur buddies on a mild stock car

    and go heads up ...

  • mustangs are over rated the onyl good ones were the gt500 in the 70's...mustnags fuckgin suck..

  • lol in the 70's????? go do some research kid.

  • ok, im a diehard chevy guy and i wont even say that. the foxbody mustangs have lots of potential for being fast and so does every mustang after that. and the new ones are better in every sinlge way then the old ones. and what about the svt cobras and the new gt500s? best cars to ever wear the mustang badge

  • Yes you sir are right. Cobras, foxbody's, and gt500s are really quick. Out at the shop the camaro used to be at are a procharged 03 gt goes 12's on 555rs which i hate :) they never hook... a 97 gt procharged. no times yet but before procharger was 11.97. a N/A 97 Cobra which does 11.97s. So they definitely do have a lot of potential to be really quick.

  • @xXxKidderxXx they ought to put an age limit on here to keep the 12 year olds mouths shut

  • im 19 btw....so stfu

  • Oh. thats better. lol

you should have gone the other way said you were 10...then we might understand.

  • ok not much gear, but still thte hood scoop thing

  • not bad for a 306. that camero and got no gear, so i'd take that hood scoop off.

  • Black car is weak and has no sauce. lol jp, car is bad ass! you'll have to call me when you go to the track!

  • I own the mustang and it now has a better cam and valve springs and slicks and skinnies.

  • Ben?

  • phh cool i putting a .533 /555. soild 106 center lob

  • Nice its gonna get a solid roller when the money comes around...

  • what size cam are you useing ?

  • .525/.540 Hydraulic roller

  • just stroke your 305 to a 335 nice little motor or make it a 355 very fast little motor !!!

  • they make stroke kits for a 305?

  • i got an 88 z-28 and i want to either bore and stroke the 305 to a 383 or just get a bigger stroker motor. whats your say on the matter?

  • I say buy a longblock 383 if you want one because it will save you literally tons of money because bulding one is so expensive these days depending on what you want to build.

  • 383's are great, but you also have to keep in mind you've grown ALMOST as much as you can with what you have. I'd get a 400 block if I were you. A 400 is still a SBC, and obviously it's going to fit like one as well. The nice thing is even at 400 cubic inches, you still have PLENTY of room for more. I'm in no way bashing the stroked 350's as they're fantastic motors, but it's going to cost you the same to build a 400, so why not stroke one of those instead? More cubes = more power, right?

  • Yeah 400's are good motors too. I just though he wanted to build a 383 for his car so I told him to buy instead of build. But yeah I agree about the 400' though.

  • you're better off spending your money on a 350 than paying all that machine work just to have something still smaller than a 350 and restrictive to what you can gain as well. 305's are definitely not an engine to do anything serious with because they weren't designed to dish out good numbers. 350 or 400 blocks are what I'd recommend. Do what you want with those.

  • that little mustange is quik. ur 383 should be no match... it must be that year. they heavy.

  • Had drag radials on the Camaro and it wouldn't hook. Have Hoosier Quicktime Pros on it now and it pulls so much better.

  • The Camaro went 11.88 and the Mustang runs 12.4's.

  • close race surprisingly but still awesome one

  • aww yeah! go camaro baby!!
