also i prefer you to dont duct tape extra pipe(leftover)because it will tear or non - stick after 10-20 use cause not water proof (sticky part)unless you has one(special one)you can hose clamp or glue(waterproof)

i already do 3 of those with varios type of size,small works great and theirs an issues, i found each bottle has it own size,mineral water has big and small ,soda ;coca cola has the big mouth,(in malaysia)F n N;sometimes big but sometimes small ,so i have to put in hot waterto shape i it up, can you study this problems?

i already make the upper of the rocket launcher and i cant find the find the bike valve in hardware store.yes you ve said that thing cant bought at autoparts but my country dont have one .i watched Kipkay and he uses ordinary recycle bike valve and scrath the rubber ,can i do that so

@101smallface Yes, it can be short. I make it long because I'm afraid it will hit someone on the way up. Kids are impulsive, like to get wet, and they move fast.

Bet if you found a bottle with smaller diameter it would launch longer higher further.Batter yet why not fabricate a rocket. When I was a kid we got some water rockets and we went out and launched them not knowing how high they would go. We never saw them again after launching. I bet with these ideas I could build a more durable pvc rocket that would get really high we could add fins utilize greater pressures too even add a parachute to prevent injury to others and the rocket.

Yes, you reuse it. I have launched thousands and never had one wear out. You reuse the bottles over and over, too.

Also, instead of a flimsy pop bottle, a spring would work far better and take less space.

However it would create an issue that springs because of how thin they generally are would be too loose themselves. And using a larger spring would only make it harder to use. Sorry, I have a bit of firing mechanism knowledge.
