hi jst want to ask a few question, i have a hardtime stretching my left shoulder. it feels like the front side of my shoulder is stuck up.. and it causes inbalance when im doing bench press and other excercises for chest workouts. pls help me.. im sory for my english.
jhashey, I have a rotor cuff injury a few months now. I workout 4-6 days per week & use rehab protocols from the internet. Should I stop weight training until the joint is completely rehabilitated. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (aaronaffan@yahoo.com)
@jhashey I did some db pullovers & hyperextended (approx 4 to 6 mths ago). I'm interested in powerlifting and strongman training. Everytime I benchpress & shoulder press I feel discomfort in the left rotor. I also got tennis elbows (left)that act up sometimes but heavy gripper training helped and really fast. I am scared that I would have a lifelong problem and can't pursue strength training. Please note that the pain isn't that bad due to rehab with bands before during and after all workouts.
@jhashey I injured the rotor doing db pullover and hyperextending 4myhs ago. Never fully healed as I train 6 times per week and go heavy. I normally have pain after bench pressing and overhead pressing. I am interested in strongman training and powerlifting but I'm scared that this injury will be long term.
hey great video i did this and it feels great. i have a question. i am a weight lifter and i get chronic shoulder pains (mostly when i bench). i think i have an impingement/bursitis. are these exercises good for this type of injury?
For impingement and built up scar tissue it should work great! I would hit these to loosen up the muscles and hit some very light shoulder mobility drills.
As a disclaimer - if its a seperation or something - you may want to see a dr.
I use some sort of upper body SMR 4 days a week (each training day). If you perform it for a long period of time to start - like 20 - 30 minutes - it may make you sore, but if you hit it for 10 min each workout it should be fine - thanks for the question!

@aaronanthony100 what was the injury? Is it preventing you from lifting in any certain manner?

would this help for joints or only muscles?

@gorba4ov Soft tissue works the muscle, but with higher tissue quality there will be improved range of motion on the joints.

I have three kinds of balls - baseballs, tennis balls, and orange hollow hockey balls. Which of these would be the best one to use for this?

@echoshadowlight I'd recommend starting with tennis ball then moving up to the street hockey ball.

I actually bought a lacrosse for this very reason this morning.......it hurts like hell. Lots of good stuff on your channel.

@finalresistance Haha, thanks! it does hurt at the start until the muscle relaxes and improves - just like foam rolling.

yea i get you. i dont think it is a separation because it only hurts me when i do any pressing movement and it feels like pinching pain.

Is this something you can do every day ?
