I agree with what a lot of people are saying about how action packed the battle system is compared to XIII. However, I still think the battle system in XIII has a lot of action. Complete with flips and all.

End of Eternity just has hella more!!!

And customizing character clothing looks fun! I shall definitely spend hours just on that alone!

My only negative comment: I like the Japanese title better...

Though an FF fan, I hafta agree with you there, well at least for FFXIII, not versus, haven't seen much of that yet.

So far, this is really, very actiony and gripping, and I've read that FFXIII took a few stuff away, like actual towns and shops, mini-games, etc. But this game even has their own costume customization and it shows in their scenes x-x...

I don't think it's a bad thing for an RPG like this to go with only guns as its weapon of choice. It's a nice break from the all too common swords. Hope they'll make the gun design really fancy to reflect its prominence in the game.

Please, try to put the best effort in the worldwide publishment, like Square Enix put in Star Ocean The last Hope PAL release, don't make the same mistake as you did with Valkyria Chronicles, the game looks great and i want to play it with the better spanish localization have ever made.

Squeenix is trying to get new fans by catering to pop culture bullshit: the transformer summons, and especially the rage-inducing R&B song by some girl who won a second rate talent show that I've never even heard of. Not to mention the character design and plot are pretty weak to begin with. However, the music and environments are stunning. The battle system also looks pretty nice. It's still worth a buy IMO, but I hope Square Enix doesn't ruin their franchise doing shit like this in more games.

I'm indifferent to her as an artist. She's nothing special, but I've no reason to hate her. However, keep her mediocre pop songs the fuck out of my Final Fantasy; that's all I'm saying. It doesn't even FIT. And if they were trying to attract a larger Western audience by using shitty pop songs (aka spitting in their fanbase's face), they could've at least got a decent one from someone more well-known. It just kills the games mood. If I have to hear it more than twice, I'm going to be very upset.
