1:15...I can't get enough of those strings I'm hearing! :D The actors did a wonderful job, and I like the 1970's esque costumes, adds a new, fresh look to everything. Love watching these movies, hope you get a chance one day to upload the whole thing ;)
I do like that this brings out Hyde's obsessiveness, though. I'm constantly re-questioning their relationship every time I see a new version of this song, and whether or not it goes beyond the purely physical or not. Is it really an obsession, or just a matter of controlling her and possessing her because Jekyll will not?
Well, this is certainly an interesting take on the relationship... I like the way it clarifies things, but I think Hyde quoting her conversation with Jekyll just takes it too far, in my opinion. It's too direct, too obvious.
It's all in the delivery I believe. Because Lucy feels safe around Doctor Jekyll, and Hyde quoting her conversation with her makes Lucy lose trust in the Doctor, and gain more trust in Hyde which is what (I think) is Hyde's goal. It's because he's jealous and obsessive....
Hmm... I sort of see the point in him making her lose trust in Jekyll, though revealing the extent to which he stalks her probably doesn't make her trust Hyde more.
And what is this "2nd Edition"? Is it licensed by MTI?
Well, judging by the costuming, it could very well be the one created especially for schools, all modernized and actually taking place in a highschool... that would then validate Lucy seeing Jekyll every day.
Funny that the presumably watered-down version of the show should have a stronger script than the original, though XD.
Wait, there's a version where it's taking place in a highschool? ew. xD If my school were to put on J&H, I would much rather have it be the England int he Victorian age we all know and love.
It is...Guess cause they might have had to cut out quite a bit of dialogue though. :P

This is a good point Alexia. I guess Lucy can't trust anyone... O_o
I have no idea. Truthfully I thought there was only one edition that schools could preform. xD

My GOD... I love Broyles' voice for this role. I mean.. and in general. Obviously Kelly is brilliant too... this show was fantastic.

Beautiful choregraphy, but Lucy's acting isn't too great, and Hyde seems a bit more darkly brooding than evil or animalistic.
