It literally sounded like a car accident, you know, like if a Jeep traveling at 30 miles per hour slammed into a full mailbox. BAM!!! The only problem was that Notre Dame got down the field and won on the last drive, I seem to remember a bad roughing the passer call which was BS where Lou Holtz bitched out the officials and then they threw a flag.
