I've been a HUGE Peter Gabriel fan since the 70's. 10 years ago my little girl was born and when I saw this interpretation of the song, I fell in love with it. @ zwartepiet412 - The animation tells the story perfectly, it just depends on the perspective. You see, I have always been there for my daughter yet as transparent as possible throughout her life; always tending her needs, yet allowing her to flourish in her own way.

The little girl in the vid lives her life her way in her world. When the time comes, she wont need daddy any longer. When he finally passes, she'll miss him, but she'll simply close the shutters for the night and live tomorrow
