BMTH's old album was awesome, Count your Blessings was one of my favourite albums of all time, now, they make a shitty remake of their album and turn dance? its fucked, and they should try and make real music like they did before looks came over the sweet sound of deathcore. Suicide Silence are one of the best bands ive heard in the last 5 years, since this music got a bit more well known, props to them, BMTH have nothing on Suicide Silence, this band puts oli sykes and BMTH to shame.

He is cupping around the mic, it is a cheating technique, I'm a vocalist for a death metal and a black metal band, cupping the mic creates false power and makes it deeper than it actually is. Try it someone, then try it without cupping the mic, the sound is completely different.
i wouldnt call it cheating, if you can make it sound a different/better way by cupping then do it! sometimes i do it sometimes i dont, it depends on the sound i want.
he does his lows by cupping his hands around his mic...you can see him doing it only on the lows and never on his highs, thats how he makes his voice lower, it is like a wind tunnel..i consider it cheating.

they never keep a steady tempo. Suicide scilence is a very good band, BUT, i think they are kinda generic deathcore. dont take this rong everyone. but be honest with yourselves. they dont really stand out that much.

He is cupping around the mic, it is a cheating technique, I'm a vocalist for a death metal and a black metal band, cupping the mic creates false power and makes it deeper than it actually is. Try it someone, then try it without cupping the mic, the sound is completely different.
On another note, this song is epic.

i wouldnt call it cheating, if you can make it sound a different/better way by cupping then do it! sometimes i do it sometimes i dont, it depends on the sound i want.

he does his lows by cupping his hands around his mic...you can see him doing it only on the lows and never on his highs, thats how he makes his voice lower, it is like a wind tunnel..i consider it cheating.

Its not because it gets it deeper..its because that kind of scream isnt as loud, so he puts his hand around the mic to make it louder...you cant tell, because the scream obviously isnt as loud as the high ones
