@Epica124 i like every single band you've enlisted here. the fact is that asking alexandria and bullet for my valentine are technically weak compared to kalmah or ensiferum, but they can reach another level of feelings with their music: they don't really need to be good, we already have enough good bands like these ones you listed first; AA and BFMV music goes straight to what the ear needs. My ears are never bored of breakdowns for example, so AA are here to bring me some ^^
I for one, blame Metallica. For making it seem Ok for male metal musicians to do things like cut their hair....and bathe. The hot frontwoman with the Valkyrie vox may have saved this band had it not already been done a million times over...with more skill and general badassery (I'm looking at you, Nightwish.)

Actually, the bands I listen to are pretty good by any standards, and I'm a fan of almost every genre of music that exists, with the exception of country, certain styles of hip hop, among some others -- point is, telling people what they listen to is terrible music is like saying to a meth addict that meth is bad for them. I grew up learning and listening to music, including playing 6 different instruments.

Hey Metalheadgr, you should branch out some and listen to some real music. You say females cant scream, I challenge you to listen to In This Moment or Straight Line Stitch. This video is aweful, the drums suck and she sounds like Cindy fucking Lauper singing for some god aweful garage metal band. The songs have the same structure and breakdowns, etc etc. Long live All That Remains, As I lay Dying, and Killswitch Engage, you know, bands that actually are talented.

@Epica124 i like every single band you've enlisted here. the fact is that asking alexandria and bullet for my valentine are technically weak compared to kalmah or ensiferum, but they can reach another level of feelings with their music: they don't really need to be good, we already have enough good bands like these ones you listed first; AA and BFMV music goes straight to what the ear needs. My ears are never bored of breakdowns for example, so AA are here to bring me some ^^

I for one, blame Metallica. For making it seem Ok for male metal musicians to do things like cut their hair....and bathe. I don't like it. First, the guitar sounds soooooo cheap that it hurts my ears like metalcore... The singer may or may not look good but i bet she can't sing without a studio in the background pitching every tone.
