I have the original one. but my video card was the problem. I bought nvidia 7600 Geforce and windows seven is running so smooth and everything seems to work!

@chaosname1 I am running 7 on a Dell Dimension E510 it had a ATI Radeon 128 Meg video card and didn't run right. I bought a Geforce 8200 512 Meg video Card and it flies now. Upgraded the Hard drive to a 500 gig and upto 4 gigs ram now. Not bad for a 4 year old Dell setup :)

I have Windows 7 boot-camped with Mac OS Snow Leopard on my Macbrook Pro 15 and IMO, i cannot decide which i like better. they are both better for different things and i think it's pointless to start an OS war between the 2. different people use it for different things or maybe just prefer one out of personal judgement (i personally prefer Mac OS because of the higher security levels and the (almost) immunity to viruses and infections). but hey, that's MY opinion so stop being immature about it

i've used windows vista and i've used 7 retail edition, very Minor differences in my opinion. I don't see very many speed enhancements at all. same things that didn't work in vista don't work in 7. for me its my good old webcam. Any way my specs are pentium 5200 , with 2gb of ram and a 9600gt.

windows 7 is a cool system and I won't go comparing it to vista... My computer just does not like an old computer. The reason windows 7 was made to take up so little ram and space is because it was made to run on older computers like mine. You see most people can't work up enough money to buy a new system so when windows vista came out, a lot of people were not prepared for such a jump. I'm glad that windows 7, as it is code named for now, will be a lot more compatible with older games. hopeful.

yes it does, it's actually better than the sidebar in vista. you can move the gadgets anywhere on your desktop, and you can make them bigger in most cases. right click on the desktop and hit gadgets, then drag them to the desktop and move them around. you can download plenty more online

Macs can get viruses. The only reason why Macs get less viruses that PCs is because Mac OS X has only about 9.7% of the market share. Windows has over 80%. If Macs are so great why are PC users still the majority?
