You have overlooked one major point - Bible prophecy. Unlike the Qur'an, the Holy Bible contains hundreds of prophecies, all of which have been fulfilled, or will be fulfilled in the future. The Bible has never been wrong in the past, and it won't be wrong in the future. The crucifixion was prophesied hundreds of years before it happened. Read Isaiah 53; Psalm 22; Isaiah 7:14; Psalm 2:7; Jer 23:5; Macah 5:2; Zech 12:10 for instance.

A question that arises from the Qur'an itself is this: Jesus' crucifixion is one of the most widely attested historical events, mentioned in all four Gospels; Paul and non-Biblical sources such as Josephus, Tacitus and the Babylonian Talmud. The Qur'an denies this event (Sura 4:157). What evidence can you provide outside of the Qur'an (written 600 years later) to support the assertion that Jesus' was not in fact crucified?

Only 33% of the world are Christian, and a sizable proportion of that don't believe Jesus died on a cross let alone believe he was actually God. So, logically, how is it, "one of the most widely attested historical events"???

I'm not sure what you are talking about. How can you be a Christian if you deny that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world. The crucifixion is attested to historically in all four gospels; Paul's letters, and documented by Roman, Jewish and Greek historians. In a debate last year with William Lane Craig, Shabir Ally was unable to counter the mass of evidence put forward for the historicity of the crucifixion. The Qur'an goes against known, recorded history.

Example1: Jehovah's Witnesses class themselves as Christians but do NOT believe he died on a cross. Example2: Rastafarians, the same. Example3: What colour eyes and skin do Christians portray Jesus in having and do YOU think that is correct; logically?

Example4: Suppose a loved one of yours was brutally murdered and the weapon was submitted to the court as evidence. Would you try to gain possession of the murder weapon, take photographs of it, and print many copies for distribution? Would you produce replicas of the weapon in various sizes? Would you then fashion some of them into jewellery? Or would you have these reproductions commercially manufactured and sold to friends and relatives to be venerated................?

My friend, I was born a Christian into a very religous & Christian family. I studied many religions - & I still am - and it was Islam that blew my mind with it's practicality & easy understanding, simplicity and obvious truth; free from dogmatic tenets & mysteries. I really thought you might have been more knowledegable of most major religions and that most do NOT believe that Jesus/Isa (PBUH), died on a cross; Sikh, Baha'i, Muslim, Jehovah's, etc... Thank you for your responses, but there is too much to deal with in one go. Firstly, as I hope you appreciate, Christianity is not a religion: it is the truth. Religion is poncing around in a silly hat waving incense and venerating statues. I agree that Islam has a simplicity about it, but I do not agree with your other observations. The fundamental question: is the Qur'an God's final revelation to mankind? and what leads you to that conclusion?

It says in your own good book (gospels), that God would never ever let harm be done to him: GOD Almighty will hear his cries (Psalm 91:15) and will save him (Psalm 91:3)
GOD Almighty will cover him with His Protection (Psalm 91:4). Christ will then not have any fear in him (Psalm 91:5). Christ will then observe with his own eyes the punishment of the crucified ones (Psalm 91:8).

Christ's call will be HEARD, and he will be delivered and honored (Psalm 91:15, Isaiah 52:13). No way would these verses be valid if Christ got crucified.
His life will be prolonged (extended) and he will live to even see his offspring (Isaiah 53:10 and Psalm 91:16, which by the way contradict Jesus never got married and had children. In Islam's Noble Quran's 13:38, however, it is quite possible that Jesus Christ had wives and children).

Otherwise compassionate Christian men are traumatized by the graphic nature of childbirth, finding it hard to reconcile the comforting warmth of the vagina they used to know with the monstrous visceral apparatus it becomes, however sanitized the hospital surroundings might be. Would you make a carving of your loved one in the throes of death including the instrument that actually killed them? Likely you would be repulsed at the idea! Yet, these very things have been done with Jesus (Isa) PBUH)) on the cross! An upright single torture stake, a cross, an arrow, a lance, or a knife; should such an instrument be used in worship or worshipped?

Besides, the use of the cross in worship is no different from the use of images in worship, a practice condemned in the Bible. (Exodus 20:2-5; Deuteronomy 4:25, 26)
This is damming and irrifutable evidence that only a brainwashed or erroneously educated person would deny. Example5: Do YOU believe, like many Christians, that Jesus/Isa (PBUH) was born a Xmas day?

No I haven't been brainwashed at all. Christians are commended for asking difficult questions (Acts 17:11).
Do not be fooled into thinking that Christians have never asked such questions as: "If Jesus is God, who did he pray to?", or "Did Jesus ever say the exact words "I am God"? etc. I do not find Islam particularly logical. For example, if Jesus was never crucified then Allah fooled the disciples into starting Christianity in the first place on the basis that he was.

If Christians had asked such questions, then what was their findings? A logical answer would be NO... Overwhelming evidence shows that Jesus was not God. God is omnipotant; "Allah, the eternally besought of all! He begets not, & nor is he begotten & there is none comparable unto him". You have overlooked one major point - Bible prophecy. Unlike the Qur'an, the Holy Bible contains hundreds of prophecies, all of which have been fulfilled, or will be fulfilled in the future. The Bible has never been wrong in the past, and it won't be wrong in the future. The crucifixion was prophesied hundreds of years before it happened. Read Isaiah 53; Psalm 22; Isaiah 7:14; Psalm 2:7; Jer 23:5; Macah 5:2; Zech 12:10 for instance.

Going back to my previous comments: It says in your own good book (gospels), that God would never ever let harm be done to him: Important Note: Psalm 91 is speaking as a number of Prophecies that WILL take place. Notice how the verses speak of future events that WILL TAKE PLACE. Never once throughout the entire New Testament were the Angels sent to save Jesus from striking his foot against a rock.This, again, clearly..

Regarding Psalm 91 - the argument you are proffering has been used by Jamal Badawi, and has since been taken up by others. However, what he actually does is to attempt to discredit the prophecies of the Psalms by falsely claiming that certain Psalms (91 for example) attest to failed Messianic prophecy, when in fact they were never recognised as such in the first place. He uses a lot of "red herring" arguments.

Some gospels say Jesus was crucified with two thieves, though the Romans never crucified thieves.
Mark - The two thieves are mentioned, but there is no conversation
Matthew 27:44 - The two thieves taunt Jesus
Luke 23:39-42 - One thief taunts Jesus and is criticized by the other. Jesus promises the 2nd thief that they would be in Paradise that day, though John and Acts say he did not ascend to heaven until 40 days after his resurrection

Mark, Luke, John - No earthquake is mentioned. No earthquake and no massive influx of formerly dead people is mentioned in any historical records, which is strange given how monumental such an event would be.
