Was there as a 13 year old. Absolutely brilliant. My late father got attacked by 4 Celtic fans at half time cause they were well pissed. We don't win a lot but when we do............................­..........thank you for the memories.

What a nice story! I am an English football fan born in 1970, so I never knew about Partick Thistle's League Cup win - the beauty of Youtube, eh! And to think Celtic had been European champions not long previously so a great achievement! I can remember Alan Rough playing in the Spanish World Cup of 1982, and also the one before in Argentina.
